    A beautiful change of genre which Lover hinted was possible, but could never have been predicted. Her songwriter reigns supreme and is complimented by gently curated melodies and lilting accompaniments. It encompasses heady, hazy summer feelings, and the cosiness of a candlelit cabin in a fairy forest, without losing her sharp wit or feminist focus. A dream.

    This is my favorite Taylor Swift album so far. She proved herself a lyrical genius by writing this album.
    She is so calm and has become a grown woman now, not like the little girl that trapped in drama years ago. Good for her.

    Amazing! She has outdone herself which I never thought was possible. She changed genres but still somehow managed to exceed expectations. This album makes me so emotional but so happy at the same time. It is one of her best, no doubt. All songs are masterpieces, the album doesn't have one skip. I'm in loveeeeeee.

    This albums is the epitome of the Taylor Swift sound. Personally, I see this as Swift at best. Her vocals are soothing thus so fitting on the overall theme the album's trying to convey. Swift had been able to master control her voice. Her lyricism and how the poetry is delivered throughout the album is superb and consistent.

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
