    This is the best work of TS.. so far. I expect this to be a strong contender for the Grammys next year, and unless something better comes along soon, it may just monopolize the awards next year.
    Maybe the pandemic has put us into a more introspective mood but whatever the story behind these songs - the net result is a career peak - at least to this music fan.

    Loves a double edged knife; ‘my tears ricochet’
    references to her previous songs in ‘the 1’ ‘invisible strings’ ‘exile’. Contrasting Production foreshadowing sad songs like ‘August’ ‘mirrorball’.
    The way she brought imageries into life is so endearing. She maintains her integrity and shares such personal things with her fans and how they construe what she’s tryna convey is so admirable.

    Love love love this album! She’s grown so much as an artist over the course of her career. I love how this album has so much imagery and illusions used to paint the stories.     These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
