    Once again Swift shows through art that the opinion of people who doesn't know her is wrong. She doesn't writes about her romantic life only. She knows how to picture the feelings and thoughts of someone that she never met! Taylor created beautiful descriptions, painful stories and more to put them together in folklore.

The songwriting on this album is Taylor's best as she completely dives in into her songwriting without her trying to have some radio hits, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
    One of the highlights would be tlgad, in which she compares herself with a woman who used to live in her new house, as they're both notorious for throwing parties, being rich and having a bad reputation, in my opinion that's one of the most interesting things I have heard in any song ever since her smash hit Blank Space.
    Another one would be mad woman where she takes inspiration from Lana Del Rey sonically, but she manages to still make it sound like herself. The song is an improved version of The Man as it explores themes revolving arround feminism. The production on the record is incredible, it's not overshadowing her lines, but rather they're complementary. That is not to say they are weak, in fact when they take the spotlight (when she let's the music take over) they're always beautiful and fitting to the songs and don't feel forced.    … Expand

    Folklore by Taylor Swift is one of the best albums I have ever come across. It is perfectly sonically cohesive, and yet each song provides something new and enticing. I would recommend it to just about anybody, even people who have never enjoyed Swift’s music in the past. She really impressed me with all 16 tracks, and this is the first album I am ever rating as a 10!

Meu sobrinho completou 1 ano junto ao dia de lançamento do album, ele anda tendo algumas crises e eu passei a cantar as músicas do folklore para ele quase todos os dias, ele sempre me devolve seus melhores sorrisos. Esse álbum virou nossa maneira de dizer que vai ficar tudo bem.

    UPDATE: Após o lançamento de evermore, volto aqui    Um álbum excepcional, quanto mais eu escuto, melhor fica. Meu sobrinho completou 1 ano junto ao dia de lançamento do album, ele anda tendo algumas crises e eu passei a cantar as músicas do folklore para ele quase todos os dias, ele sempre me devolve seus melhores sorrisos. Esse álbum virou nossa maneira de dizer que vai ficar tudo bem.

    Nectar for ears.Took my soul to an adventure.I felt like I was in the woods and met some people along the way who told me stories about themselves.Did not expect that high quality lyricism and poetic approach to some matters.Especially "Epiphany" made me emotional because of the situation we are in rught now.Loved the album.

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
