Absolutely astonishing. Taylor has, once again, truly outdone herself. Not only has she taken the initiative to put her heart on the line again, but she’s done so with lyrically impressive poetry

The production is amazingly done by her usual collaborator Jack Antonoff, Aaron Dessner of The National and Swift herself. Definitely this surprise self owned album is a masterpiece and the piece that was missing in Taylor's discography. Expand

Swift explodes the expectations of anyone preparing to call her music "diaristic," writing songs from different perspectives while putting her already-detailed work under a microscope. ... A content smile of an album on which one of the world's biggest pop stars, charts be damned, forges her own path and dares listeners to come along for the ride.

Folklore by Taylor Swift is an excellent album that came just when we needed it. This record shows us a very sensitive side of Swift because, although it does not have its own experiences as such, it is based on different stories of love and heartbreaking to give us a very well developed album in terms of message. Regarding the musical aspect, Taylor goes back in part to its origins because although most songs belong to the alternative genre, the slow, folk and romantic sound that this gem gives us takes us back to the Taylor that was just beginning in the music industry. some songs within her repertoire that she has given us over the years. Best album yet, lyricly it's one of the best, not only from Taylor Swift, in general she delivered songs so complex yet so relatable to the public, i loved every single song. Please don't rate low just because you support other artist! We don't need more hate in the world but only support each other

Parece que Taylor esta desesperada por crear un legado basado en versatilidad cuando realmente no puede serlo, este álbum parece ser solo agradable para sus fans que tiene que apoyarla aun sacado música que no les guste.

It's a sharp turn to the left for Swift and a fine reminder that she is more than just a gleaming pop phenomenon, but a remarkable songwriter too. [Oct 2020, p.36]

A modern-folk masterpiece which finds her moving from her previous pop bangers into stunningly simple yet sharp melodies, ‘folklore’ will be going down in Swiftie history as one of her most unexpected, and undoubtedly one of her best.

These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
