    I have always wanted Taylor Swift to create a soft, alternative, and instrumental album. Unlike her previous albums, particularly 1989, "folklore" by Taylor Swift is not created for the mainstream, but rather for her listeners to listen to and appreciate the beautiful lyrics to. This is her best album yet.

    everything about this album is perfect, the lyrics, the storytelling, the melody. not many pop stars of taylor swift's stature can take such a huge risk in their 8th album and still be able to deliver a masterpiece.

    Not my thing at all. Plus tswift has lots of super dedicated fans that post/tweet/hashtag before they even listen to a complete song to boost her ratings and keep her a top artist. She's a good singer/songwriter i just don't think she's top chart worthy. Not my style of music so obviously some bias here.

    Taylor Swift sorprendió al mundo con un álbum compuesto durante la cuarentena. Si bien no es mi favorito, es un gran álbum que demuestra cómo ha madurado líricamente. Mis preferidas son "The 1", "The Last American Dynasty", "Mirrorball", "Seven", "My Tears Ricochet", "Betty" y "Peace".

    this album caught us all so off guard and as a big taylor stan since her red days i can say i was very excited but also scared of the outcome it might have had.

    taylor broke with all my expectations for this album presenting an aoty-worthy album (in a year with fiona’s and rina’s completion) and creating literal magic in a way only she cans.

    as her 3rd major genre change, after growing up country and reaching her mainstream climax as pop, the soft-alt / indie plays so greatly with the times we are living right now and the way we all feel. i'm so glad she decided to experiment new stuff and coming up with her most experimental album so far.

    it took me 2 days of repeated and (literally) never-stopping listening of the album to fully understand how i feel about it... yet i still cannot put it into words how magical and meaningful this album is...

    I love them- every single song in this album. It is amazing that i listen to all of them on the day they released and the lyrics are perfect. Thank you, Taylor for such a fantastic album.

    a perfect piece of work, this album is perfect but for me it’s too long and can loose the vibe after the half of the album. but i still love it and taylor swift really established herself as one of the best songwriters of this generation with this album. folklore is a piece of diamond on her discography

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
