Maybe the reason was the perfect lyrics and talent that hurt me so badly for not give me a single reason to hate her.     Está claro que no es un estilo que le va a gustar a todo el mundo, pero recomiendo darle una segunda oportunidad si tras la primera escucha te pareció un poco aburrido. Las letras son verdaderamente increíbles, en línea con las maravillas que Taylor está tan acostumbrada a escribir. Hay muchos lyrics que se me han quedado ya grabados, esta mujer es simplemente de lo mejor que existe en laEstá claro que no es un estilo que le va a gustar a todo el mundo, pero recomiendo darle una segunda oportunidad si tras la primera escucha te pareció un poco aburrido. En cuanto al sonido, se siente como una manta calentita que te abriga en un día de otoño mientras te tomas un café y escuchas cómo llueve fuera. En mi primera escucha debo reconocer que no me encantó, no es un género que estoy acostumbrada a escuchar y me costó un poco abrir mi mente a él, pero precisamente por ello recomiendo darle una segunda oportunidad. Cuando terminé de escuchar el album por segunda vez mi primer pensamiento fue: "¿por qué narices no me gustó antes?" El album perfecto para relajarse. Mi canción favorita es August.

    PD: Iba a ponerle un 9, pero le doy el 10 porque tengo que darle a Taylor el mérito que se merece por hacer siempre música tan diferente. 1989 no se parece nada a Red. Reputation no se parece nada a 1989. Lover no se parece nada a Reputation. Folklore no se parece nada a Lover. Esta mujer tiene un rango alucinante y absolutamente todo lo que hace, lo hace bien. Espero que siga explorando nuevos géneros y sonidos en el futuro.    … Expand

    The folklore itself is a mixture of 'safe & sound' and 'the last time' but maturest. The melancholy, nostalgia and tranquility of this album is outstanding! The hightlights would be: Cardigan, Exile, My Tears Ricochet, Seven, August, Invisible String e Epiphany.

    Swift returned with different sounds than she usually does. She manages to stabilize the production she uses with her voice, keeping her voice from drowning in production. the lyrics are very good, Swift never disappoints in that regard.

    This album is fantastic. The lyrics, melodies, and personalities of the songs are distinctly Taylor, but the music lies somewhere between Bon Iver and the Postal Service. Subdued, melancholic, her strongest and most cohesive album yet.

This album showcases the pure talent Swift has and is pretty much a collection of 16 songs that have the same storytelling quality as “All Too Well.” My favorite song on this album changes every time I take a listen.

    An unexpected album dropping at an unexpected time. While I expected it to have pop-vibes like 'Lover', I was contented that it had more piano music. As like the cover theme, it had a 'Safe and Sound' vibe. Honestly her best work so far ever since 'Red'.

    Folklore is one of if not the best Taylor album. Its soft and relaxing. The lyrics really transport you into the moment the song is creating. If you are not a big fan of Taylor's pop music I would definitely give Folklore a listen!

I dare to say that this is the best of her works, everything is perfectly put together, and it actually take you to the places where the stories happened.     If you're feeling empty, this album will fill your heart with love, pain, anger, fear, and nostalgia. The combination of the lyrics, the soft, beautiful vocals, and the production made me want to either cry and punch the wall beside me or close my eyes and let it transport me to a place I don't know, or to a life I've never lived. Like the story of Peter and Wendy, it's just pure magic.

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
