    This is one best album Swift has ever made. Simple, but beautiful. It's very mature and you can tell that Taylor has improved a lot as a songwriter and as a vocalist. So wonderful!

She’s always relished her dramatic creative zigzags, but this is easily her most audacious move, full of story-telling depth she’s never come close to before. This album sounds so Ethereal. Some of us have spent years dreaming TaylorOnce a Country Girl always a Country girl, no pop songs at all. The whole album gives country vibes, it’s as far beyond Lover as Lover was beyond Reputation. She’s always relished her dramatic creative zigzags, but this is easily her most audacious move, full of story-telling depth she’s never come close to before. This album sounds so Ethereal.     Stunning. Mesmerizing. Abstract. Whimsical, yet sophisticated. This album is a lyrical masterpiece that is deserving of the highest praise. Beautifully written and well - produced, it's distinctly mature, and this maturity is what makes it superior to almost all else she's written thus far, even Red. This album is magnificent.

    Taylor swift is never changing but never staying the same either. It shows. She’s in that state of master crafter and she just doesn’t give an F anymore. She knows she’s got it and that she’s the best at what she does: evolving as a musician, which is a very very hard task to accomplish, and she performs it flawlessly.

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
