From FACE OFF down to SET ME FREE pt 2. I’m literally quite impressed honestly. I only wish there was more. My favorite record on this ep is LIKE CRAZY!!!! He ate on that track.… Expand

    Este álbum contiene una mezcla de ritmos y melodías que te lleva por diferentes estados de ánimo, por lo cuál, nunca te cansas de escucharlo. Me hubiera gustado que tuviera más canciones para poder disfrutar un poco más de ese tono único que tiene Jimin, pero debo reconocer que el álbum no decepciona en ningún momento. Espero seguir escuchando más de su música en el futuro.

    Face is a masterpiece.
    From start to finish, it tells a story about Jimin's struggles during the pandemic.
    He showed us his vocal abilities and more. It was emotional but strong. It will make you dance, cry, reflect on your life, gain power and just be immersed in the music and storytelling. You can easily relate to everything that he is conveying in his music. The title track, Like    Face is a masterpiece.
    From start to finish, it tells a story about Jimin's struggles during the pandemic.
    He showed us his vocal abilities and more. It was emotional but strong.
    It will make you dance, cry, reflect on your life, gain power and just be immersed in the music and storytelling.
    You can easily relate to everything that he is conveying in his music.
    The title track, Like Crazy, is a synth pop dance music that's simply addicting. The pre-release track, Set Me Free pt. 2 is so anthemic. It gave me goosebumps the first time I listened and watched the MV. I suggest also watching the music videos and live performances on Jimmy Fallon, KBS and SBS.
    There's also a live Jazz version of Like Crazy on Lee Mujin Service YouTube channel. It's so divine! I wish they'll release this version on streaming platforms, too. Jimin's voice is so unique and captivating. I can listen to it all day. I hope other people will give it a listen, too.
    And if you followed the whole promotions, you'll be amazed by how cohesive everything is. I love this album so much! Jimin, without intending, created the album of the year by just wanting to honestly share himself through his music. Can't get enough of Face by Jimin! I'm Like Crazy for it! :D    … Expand

    Face is a non-skip album, I listen to this album from top to bottom. Each song has a different sound and emotion. And As for Jimins first solo album, I love how this is purely him and no collab from another artist. Jimin always gives something new to his audience, now I look forward to his next album.

    Brillant, absolutely brillant arrangement for each song and between songs in the FACE album is AOTY. Both eye and ear feasting MVs for Like Crazy and Set Me Free pt 2 are produced with high quality! Park Jimin’s first solo album sets a new benchmark by means of the artist truly appearing solo! A HOT100 winner for weeks if rankings starting in its 2nd week onwards are done right.

    Realmente lo único malo del albúm es que te deja con ganas de mas, cada canción te lleva a experimentar emociones diferentes, espero su segundo trabajo en solitario con muchas ansias.

Apart from his unique voice, what’s even more impressive is how well-thought-out the lyrics and effects are. The carnival sounds for the intro to Face-Off, the distortion in certain lyrics of Alone, the autotune in Set Me Free Pt2, the short catchy skit in the beginning of Like Crazy, and even the sequence of actions heard in Interlude: Dive. When you really analyze and set aside implicit bias or other expectations, one will realize how symbolic and innovative and intriguing this album is.… Expand

    While it’s a short EP, it doesn’t disappoint. If anything, he presents himself as a soloist with an unexpected sound for his high-pitched countertenor voice and very far from those earlier ballads we have heard from him.

    Its six tracks wrap all too quickly, and while it was specified that Jimin doesn’t consider this a full-length project, it does leave the listener craving more music in this vein somewhere down the road — it’s worth repeating that the energy of “Face-off” is one that he should consider chasing most of all.
