    This album is not a "just flaunting their wealth". It's a narration of Beyonce and Jay Z life story, with all the ups-and-downs. They tell it like it is, no sugarcoating. They are a successful, wealthy, powerful African-American couple that don't need to conform to or obey anyone that suppress and ignore black people's race and culture. They also told how they overcame obstacles in theirThis album is not a "just flaunting their wealth". It's a narration of Beyonce and Jay Z life story, with all the ups-and-downs. They tell it like it is, no sugarcoating. They are a successful, wealthy, powerful African-American couple that don't need to conform to or obey anyone that suppress and ignore black people's race and culture. They also told how they overcame obstacles in their life and came out (in my assumption) happier. Broken family because of infidelity, bad friends and influences become whole again.

    People need to listen without prejudice first and look up their lyrics and life stories to appreciate Everything is Love; maybe they could learn a thing or two from The Carters.    … Expand

    Like many others, I was surprised when this album dropped out of nowhere. I have been listening to the album quite often since its release and I really enjoy it. As of right now, my top 3 tracks are APES**T, Boss, and Friends.

Every song takes you through a powerful journey - leaving you completely at ease, but in awe and begging for more. What's even more amazing is that every listen is somehow an even better experience than the previous. AND! As if that wasn't enough... add on the MV and life, forin a word: breathtaking. This album is everything you've come to expect from Beyonce & Jay-Z and so much more.     Out of her albums, this one is the most mature, yet it had a fresh tune to it, with trap music influence, it benefits her and jay z, she dropped the album without promotion, and exclusively for premium Spotify, and I think she reached a point where the streams and sells don't matter that much for her, my favs are summer and boss.

    I was really surprised by how much Beyonce leaned into rap on this release. I wasn’t sure if I would like it as a full album but I ended up really enjoying this era. Standouts are the propulsive **** lyrically relatable Friends and Nice.

    They are celebrating life with this album, something we all need to do sometimes. Being proud of what you accomplished is nothing to be ashamed of. Beyonce has walked over any genre imaginable so its no suprise that she killed it!!

    I've been waiting for new music from bey for so long!!! Upon my first listen, the sound of the album was quite unexpected since it wasnt very melodic or obviously heavy with her vocals. I still liked it though and with each listen I love it more and more. Definitely keeps in time with current music trends vibes, and I got really excited by her spitting so many bars.     I've always been amazed by Beyoncé's music and stage presence. I was expecting good and deep music with this album and I'm glad that's what we got. Lemonade will still be my number 1 but Everything Is Love by The Carters is a new chapter with a lot of potential. Keep shining Queen.

    I love it. Sonically it is more hip hop than Beyonce has ever been, but I love her versatility. She is arguable the most versatile artist of this generation. Jay was really great as well. They compliment each other well.

    A carefully crafted masterpiece. Thematic elements of love and self-reflection were intricately woven into the songs and a listen from start to finish was a beautiful journey. EIL is a stunning piece of art.

    20+ Years in the industry and still redefining themselves. Keeping in mind this is a JOINT project i dont know what else a listener could ask for. They deserve all of the success they've had up to this point and if this album is any indication of the future neither of them will be going anywhere anytime soon !!!

    This album is amazing. Every song has its story. Talking about her marriage and how they working through it because love prevails at the end.
    My favorite songs off this incredible album are BOSS, FRIENDS and of course APES**T.

    Thanks to the trending topics in twitter yesterday i was able to discover the new album was out, and i wasn't surprised at all to hear and realize it was a masterpiece. They aren't flaunting their wealth but talking about their life and success, and i hope everyone gives it a chance. That said, BOSS is my favorite track

    The only word I want to use to describe this album is: masterpiece. The way Beyoncé and Jay-Z worked out their personal life and showed us their growth is just beautiful. They definitely took trap music to another level with amazing beats and great bars. It's for the culture and I'm living!
    I listened to this album for the BTSxARMY collab but I genuinely fell in love with it.

    I love the songs on Everything is Love my favorites being Apes**t, Summer, Friends and Boss. Love the different sounds and musical influences every song has. Beyonce proves once again that she is a true artist. The album itself is a work of art. Beyonce and Jay Z should be proud.

    Every single track off the album is carefully crafted in both tune & production. Every track gives off a different vibe that takes you through a hip hop/ RnB dream and after listening to it once you can’t help but listen to it again and again. This album deserves a listen from everyone because it honestly is THAT amazing!

    This album was such an amazing journey. A story about their love, family and fame. They open up about their struggles and their place in the world and how they feel about it. They also talk about how at the end of the day, beyond all the sparkling wonders of fame, they are just people, like anyone else.
    It's captivating and rewarding. Don't miss it.

    The Carters are a great duo as we all know but in this project, they use their music to communicate with their fans. Its not the typical Beyoncé we're used to though. She has simply reached a level in her career that she can do whatever she wants whether we like it or not. The album is great

    this album is a portrayal of Beyonce and Jay z 's world. through this album you can hear the anger, the love they have for each other. they also have the ability to weave real word topics in their music. they battle topics such as the athlete's protests to the incarceration of black men in such a simple way. they have truly cultivated a timeless album.

    A perfect ending to the era that is Lemonade and 4:44. A masterpiece. We hear a carefree Beyoncé and Jay get everything that they want off their chest. They have told each of their stories and now are back to tell us through all of it they are still happy in love. A timeless classic will age like WINE.

All the songs seem similar, and I HATE the use of autotune. She's better than that!!! I think the best songs are SUMMER, APE****, BLACK EFFECT, and LOVEHAPPY.     I enjoy every song on this album! I listen to this album over and over, never anticipating the next song, which is rare for me. Beyonce dusted her magic all over this album and Jay raps the hell out of his verses, on every song. I'm excited about this summer jam-out album! Yet another brilliant album from two brilliant people.

    Beyonce and Jay-Z take pop, R&B, and rap for a spin on "EVERYTHING IS LOVE" and the result is a jolt of energy and artistry. Whether it be the smooth and warm breeziness of "SUMMER", or the fun and excitement in **** or the extraordinary groove and intellect of "LOVEHAPPY", "EVERYTHING IS LOVE" sees the musical power couple at their best and brightest.

    Beyoncé and JAY Z come together for their first collaboration album under the surname of The Carters. This short-lived album, combines the sound of both artists for a beautiful homage of their love for their race, friends, fans, and most of all each other. I enjoyed hearing both artists on this album, but I felt like some tracks felt more like Bey's or just JAY Z's instead of aBeyoncé and JAY Z come together for their first collaboration album under the surname of The Carters. This short-lived album, combines the sound of both artists for a beautiful homage of their love for their race, friends, fans, and most of all each other. I enjoyed hearing both artists on this album, but I felt like some tracks felt more like Bey's or just JAY Z's instead of a collaboration on each track. I also wanted a bit more production wise and I felt like some production was stuff we had heard on Bey's last two albums. Nevertheless, it was a nice collaborative project and I look forward to seeing what Bey has for her next project.

    The fact that Beyoncé and JayZ are making bop after bop and the children are sleeping on them makes me angry. I think this album has the concept, the production, the lyrics and the vocals we all expected from these two incredible artists, yet they were slept on.

    As an album it’s almost entirely soporifically dull though beautifully appointed throughout (and it’s a joy to hear Beyoncé rapping) by some smart production from both main protagonists and some slick grooves from the Daptone band. [Aug 2018, p.68]

    It's also a sonic master class in marital counseling and commitment, wherein Beyoncé emerges with the upper hand and a contrite Jay is lucky she's so gracious. Vocally, it's a similar story: Beyoncé shines here, balancing light rap verses ("Apeshit" and "Nice") with some of the prettiest vocals she's recorded in years ("Friends"), while Jay offers his standard braggadocious bars that nonetheless make an impact for their occasional honesty and humility.
