Beyonce and Jay-Z take pop, R&B, and rap for a spin on "EVERYTHING IS LOVE" and the result is a jolt of energy and artistry. Whether it be the smooth and warm breeziness of "SUMMER", or the fun and excitement in **** or the extraordinary groove and intellect of "LOVEHAPPY", "EVERYTHING IS LOVE" sees the musical power couple at their best and brightest.

The fact that Beyoncé and JayZ are making bop after bop and the children are sleeping on them makes me angry. I think this album has the concept, the production, the lyrics and the vocals we all expected from these two incredible artists, yet they were slept on.

I enjoyed hearing both artists on this album, but I felt like some tracks felt more like Bey's or just JAY Z's instead of a collaboration on each track. I also wanted a bit more production wise and I felt like some production was stuff we had heard on Bey's last two albums. Nevertheless, it was a nice collaborative project and I look forward to seeing what Bey has for her next project.

A perfect ending to the era that is Lemonade and 4:44. A masterpiece. We hear a carefree Beyoncé and Jay get everything that they want off their chest. They have told each of their stories and now are back to tell us through all of it they are still happy in love. A timeless classic will age like WINE.

On paper "Everything is Love" should be an animal of a pop record with 2 of pop music's most prominent and in terms of material, satisfying, stars coming together. When these two collaborated on "Crazy in Love" the world of the Carter couple was very different, as was the world in general. This album couldn't be further from that time which made the record that bit more interesting. Opener "SUMMER" starts extremely promising, Beyonce's smokey vocals broken up by a few bars from Jay Z. Nice orchestration, nice R&B groove and would be a great intro track if it was trimmed by a few minutes. **** follows, again, not necessarily a bad track, some good synth loops and beats that Jay Z does a good job on but fails to catch fire. "BOSS" is the first top tune with both artists making meaningful contributions to what makes the track good. "NICE" is a bit experimental, slight glitch pop feel to it with a grating howling dog loop and lyrically it's a bit all of the place and sounds like it was done in 5 minutes. I'm not sure if The Carters gave Dr Dre a bell to ask for permission to rip him off on "713". It's a very good track but all I can hear is the sound of the doctor. "FRIENDS" slows down the pace, a Beyonce driven track which lights up the tail end of the record. "HEARD ABOUT US" follows nicely, again primarily driven by Beyonce. "BLACK EFFECT" has some excellent sample work and builds nicely to Jay Z taking the track home. "LOVEHAPPY" is an upbeat and fitting end to a fine album.
The second half of the album sees a more creative freedom to proceedings with the opening half more focused on the commercial side of it. I'd have liked if the Carters had be bold enough to release a whole album in the vein of side 2. A very good record from 2 great artists that could have been even better.

The fans rejoiced but jealous corny fans would still call their marriage fake. Then Jay Z released his #1 album "4:44" to confirm about his cheating past and the reconciliation. The haters seemed still not having it as they called it "a fake marketing campaign".

Then comes this album. An album where both artists talk about forgiveness and their fantastic achievement with a lot of bangers, mostly integrates trap, reggae, soul, R&B.. This album is a proof that both Beyoncé and Jay Z has been evolving real hard aesthetically & sonically. Beyoncé finally shows off her rapping skill with great flows and Jay shows to the world who's in charge in the family. It is heavily produced and includes some of their best works.

Even the APES**T video is stunning. Not only filled with extravagant fashion pieces, the video also feature some of the most famous art pieces in the most lavish museum in the world. Talking about promoting art to the next level.

    As for the haters:
    - Is it forbidden for two of the most successful & powerful black artists to talk about their amazing achievement?
    - Is it forbidden for B to release an album days after your favorite released a flop album which will only scan aluminum?
    - Stop saying "I miss the old Beyoncé" because, unlike your favorite, she is evolving. She's been releasing 6 different albums.

Best Cuts: Summer, Friends, APES**T Nice & Boss.

When you think after everything that happened, and all that conversation around the world, on social media, in the press etc. this is the type of response they had to give, and in true Bey and Jay style, it was classy, it was professional and it was just so lovely to enjoy.

This album for me, and I’m sure fans will agree, really is one of those that are in a league of it’s own. It’s fresh, and just has such a vibe to it that is so distinctive but also, suits to Beyoncé and Jay. The joint album couldn’t have gone better and it really is a joy to listen to.

AMEI Expand

Her voice and musical style can vary and in the track Apes**t she faces all of the people who may have degraded her and dismissed her, in a stylistic and emotionally evocative way. The visuals in the video for this track are stunning and again exemplify the strength of women and how they don't have to be sexualized in degrading ways to "sell" the song. The fact that she recorded against the backdrop of classical art and a modern style of singing meshed so well and helped convey her connection between the timeless appeal that the surrounding art has and the message of the classic and timeless nature of how her relationship has evolved and become. I am not a part of her fandom just giving a review just to boost her score. I feel the impact she is making on women especially girls is significant that they don't have to submit to anyone to be strong or to define themselves, and it can be with the support of a man, not because of him. this entire album was excellent, every song was a bop and the lyrics held such power. following Lemonade and 4:44 this album was really fitting, like a final chapter in the trilogy, and a new beginning at the same time - they're really on top of the world right now!!!

this album is a portrayal of Beyonce and Jay z 's world. through this album you can hear the anger, the love they have for each other. they also have the ability to weave real word topics in their music. they battle topics such as the athlete's protests to the incarceration of black men in such a simple way. they have truly cultivated a timeless album.

This album was such an amazing journey. A story about their love, family and fame. They open up about their struggles and their place in the world and how they feel about it. They also talk about how at the end of the day, beyond all the sparkling wonders of fame, they are just people, like anyone else.
It's captivating and rewarding. Don't miss it.

The Carters are a great duo as we all know but in this project, they use their music to communicate with their fans. Its not the typical Beyoncé we're used to though. She has simply reached a level in her career that she can do whatever she wants whether we like it or not. The album is great

Every single track off the album is carefully crafted in both tune & production. Every track gives off a different vibe that takes you through a hip hop/ RnB dream and after listening to it once you can’t help but listen to it again and again. This album deserves a listen from everyone because it honestly is THAT amazing!

I'm loving that this album is from a power couple, a black power couple. EIL show's the struggles of love; the good times, the bad times, the heartache but in the end Everything Is Love. BTW, Black Effect is it!!

The only word I want to use to describe this album is: masterpiece. The way Beyoncé and Jay-Z worked out their personal life and showed us their growth is just beautiful. They definitely took trap music to another level with amazing beats and great bars. It's for the culture and I'm living!
I listened to this album for the BTSxARMY collab but I genuinely fell in love with it.

The Carters beautifully captured the arts in r&b and Hip Hop with a mix of today's music, Incredible masterful and thought through from the first song to the last it was a roller coaster of emotion it's egoistic of the player that was speaking throughout the music tracks. Uplifting and empowering is the words to express this album and definitely worth the bill. To be honest, because this album was released out of the blue, i didn’t really know what to expect. But of course, Beyonce & Jay Z never fail to impress us. Apes**t definitely is the soul of this album. I love how they express themselves in this song. Not to mention that extraordinary MV that impress everyone. But my personal favorite is BOSS. As an album it’s almost entirely soporifically dull though beautifully appointed throughout (and it’s a joy to hear Beyoncé rapping) by some smart production from both main protagonists and some slick grooves from the Daptone band. [Aug 2018, p.68]

It's also a sonic master class in marital counseling and commitment, wherein Beyoncé emerges with the upper hand and a contrite Jay is lucky she's so gracious. Vocally, it's a similar story: Beyoncé shines here, balancing light rap verses ("Apeshit" and "Nice") with some of the prettiest vocals she's recorded in years ("Friends"), while Jay offers his standard braggadocious bars that nonetheless make an impact for their occasional honesty and humility.

There’s a sense of immediacy and even unpredictability in the most restless moments on Everything In Love, which saves the album from being a rather static and defiant contemplation of The Carters’ victories.
