    As much as I love folklore, Evermore is better. The intricacies in the lyrics are exquisite. At this point no one can deny Taylor is one of the best lyricists of our generation.

But it’s not to similar that It feels like we’ve already heard it all. No body, no crime is a total new world that Taylor has just wondered upon that not many other artists would dare to write about.     Just why on earth is she trying so hard to appease indie crowd ? It is bluntly clear in both folklore and evermore that dessner and antonoff have done the entire instrumentals and she just added her corny lyrics over them like "dancing in your Levi" "salt air and rust on your door"(yes thats what a rich girl thinks we poor people notice) "love you to the moon and Saturn"(for rhyming sake)Just why on earth is she trying so hard to appease indie crowd ?     Another absolutely wonderful album from Miss Swift. Taylor is so amazing at drawing imagery and narratives, one of my favorites being No Body, No Crime, a collaboration with HAIM about infidelity and murder. Taylor has such a way of creating magic with lyrics and melodies and this album is a perfect example of that. She has done it again, constantly raising the bar for us all and doing itAnother absolutely wonderful album from Miss Swift.     A musically complex and lyrically genius album. Swift has done it again. She has outdone folklore and created her best body of work. Some highlights are gold rush; 'tis the damn season; no body, no crime; dorothea; champagne problems; and the absolutely heart wrenching tolerate it. long story short, closure, willow, and ivy are among the best of the album.

    For a sister album to Folklore, I loved the tracks Taylor selected for the second piece. Willow, Evermore, Marjorie and Tolerate It are my favourite tracks so far, and though some tracks are less impactful they all fit together beautifully to become a very cohesive album. Taylor's lyricism is again highlighted and nicely put together.

    One would think that folklore's little sister would have a hard time following up the magical woodland tales that folklore is. However, Taylor managed to explore these dreamy sceneries even deeper with evermore and creates a safe space for the listener that makes the hard times we are living in currently seem easier to comprehend. It feels like a comfort blanket that you put over when the weather and the thoughts get colder and darker and is the definition of escapism. It's nostalgia on a whole different level and somehow it's a mix between looking back on the past, reflecting today and being hopeful for the future.
    Taylor was not scared to try new sounds and back further away from her American pop girl image. This album is adult and wiser and even though the concept is similar to folklore, it stands for it’s own and it grows with every listen. The lyrics seem more like beautiful poems than songs and it's definitely worth to take the time to fully understand what she's actually trying to express rather than just listen to it on the fly. Taylor once again proved that her ability to create a different world with her words is unmatched and incomparable to other artists for over a decade now and doesn't lose quality through quantity.
    Evermore is the perfect closing track and captures the gut wrenching, heart-stopping waves of hurt that come to you when you listen to the album front-to-back in a hauntingly enchanting way. Needless to say that Taylor found the perfect producers in Jack and Aaron, the trinity is a match made in heaven and it really seems like a collective body of work. It's just as much Jack's and Aaron's album as it is Taylor's because you can feel their sonic influence more than you usually can on records.

    May the sound not be for everyone BUT the lyrics are amazing, even if Taylor ain’t your cup of tea, you might as well enjoy listening to it. It’s an amazing album.

    Taylor Swift is the only singer in the world to do such a thing (put out another surprise album in less than five months after releasing another) and be successful. Evermore delves deeper into the world that Folklore started and gives us a lot of art. The collaborations, the lyrics, the sounds, everything is perfect.

    It is a masterpiece in every single way, Taylor and all of the co-writer : Jack Antonoff, Aaron Dressner, justin Verson and WB did an exellent job at writing amazing songs with beautiful lyrics and great music, but also by completing the stories behind “folklore”: Taylor’s 8th Studio album.

    When folklore came out, I never thought that Taylor would be able to release something that would match up to it but she has proven me wrong with this album. One can see the similarities between the two sister records but the two are very different. Evermore is definitely a more upbeat album and I'm all here for it!

    Just an amazing album. She did not disappoint us even though she set the bar high with folklore.

    This album is a triumph. It feels like a younger sibling to folklore, as it's more whimsical and takes more daring steps. It has an even nicer flow than the folklore, with Champagne problems, Evermore, and Marjorie as standouts.

    Even though we get a catchy moment of goofy, snarling country midway through, the album is a result of the emotional clarity that a year in quarantine provided. Swift has written about curdling relationships splendidly in the past, but there's a new dimension to her writing that wasn’t there before. Onward.
