En el vemos un desarrollo de líricas hermosas acompañado de sonidos y una producción nostálgica que acompaña muy bien al otoño y al invierno. Puede que suene más alegre que folklore pero no lo es. Respetando su esencia de contar historias, Taylor posiciona este album folk alternativo por arriba de otros este año. ConTal y como Miss Swift lo dijo, este album es la hermana de Folklore. Con colaboraciones hermosas, historias increíbles y con un concepto bien desarrollado la interprete demuestra porque fue la artista más exitosa del año y porque Folklore merece ganar AOFT en los grammys. When Taylor dropped the news about a new album only five months after the universally acclaimed “folklore” I just thought: “man, she’s back with that fearless soul with an amazing record or she’s gonna ruin the progress of her 8th album”. As a swiftie for 6 years, I just hoped it would be fantastic as all her productions, and thank God it was. What an absolute honor to be alive at the same time as Taylor Swift. Lyrics are as sharp as in folklore, even better in songs like: Happiness, Tolerate It and Evermore, to name a few. If you’re still reading this, even if you’re not a huge fan, i highly recommend listening to this second masterpiece gift she gave us in 2020. I just hope she keeps on going with this RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME music. Again, if ur not a fan, I’d say: listen firstly to Willow, Champagne Problems, ‘Tis the dawn season, Happiness and Gold Rush, not in any particular order.… Expand

    I just think it's the perfect record. Great job miss Taylor Swift. The way she tell stories never fail to impress me. I love what she did with folklore and also what she did with this one. I love that i can listen to it anytime i want. I feel so blessed to be alive.

    Amazing album, full of mythical, and imaginary tales. Gives you that escapism from this world, and dream about fantasy with amazing lyrical masterpieces and poetry that aren’t your history, but you can relate with it, and right now a lot of music doesn’t do this anymore. Taylor owns this music world and she is the most talented poet of this time.

    Taylor tried to give a better version of folklore from a different and more innovative point of view, something that I achieved because the songs on the evermore album give a similar air but at the same time different that just listening the first time catches us

    My favourite was no body, no crime where she tells us a whole murder mystery novel in 3 minutes. This best describes what a great songwriter she is. This album is folklore's sister record but it also has Reputation vibes in it. It grows on you with every listen as you notice and understand the songs more and more.

    Marjorie is another masterpiece where Miss Swift sings about her    My favourite was no body, no crime where she tells us a whole murder mystery novel in 3 minutes. She has never let me down. Songwriting and storytelling really are her things and she knows it, such as the melodies that are so unique, i truly don't have enough words to describe this so i'm just gonna end it here. 100/100.

    even my least favourite songs on the track (closure, dorothea and evermore) are amazing, i think i’ll warm up to them.

    my favourite song is probably tolerate it. it’s been on repeat since and i just have no words, it’s also just a very relatable song and she captures the feelings of what that type of relationship is like effortlessly. Taylor’s vocals on evermore and folklore are absolutely stunning and i cant get over it. i love her other albums and songs but folklore and evermore are such SUCH beautiful albums it’s something else.. i’m so glad and grateful evermore is out and if u haven’t listened to it yet.. wtf are u doing? aha.    … Expand

    Absolutely love the continuity from the last album how they intertwined but how they could stand alone as well.
    This is not an album you can simply let your thoughts fade away with the music, this is an album that demands you to live through the stories and walk in the world they dream up with the words and melodies and I can’t get enough.

Evermore es mi vida, mi religión, mis sueños, mis anhelos, y mis ganas de vivir.Subjetivamente pienso que es el mejor álbum de la vida, y objetivamente también, no tengo pruebas pero tampoco me importa tenerlas, con que yo lo piense me basta. Antes de escucharlo era homosexual, pero ahora soy evermoresexual, me he enamorado de este álbum, aunque pensé que no superaría a folklore, lo hizo. Evermore es mi vida, mi religión, mis sueños, mis anhelos, y mis ganas de vivir. Cada canción desde willow hasta evermore son el aire que respiro, el agua que bebo, y el alimento que nutrirá a mis futuras generaciones, y también será quien me acompañará por el resto de mi vida *llora con drama*... Taylor siempre sabe como superarse y está en constante descubrimiento y trabajo, todas sus canciones tienen alma y corazón. Ahora una breve review porque quiero y porque puedo: que siguiera el mismo camino que folklore no pudo ser una mejor decisión, pues expande el universo de este pequeño "bosque encantado" que creó antes y del cual aún queda por explorar, con letras llenas de poesía exquisita, metáforas tan inteligentes que le brindan uno y mil significados a cada párrafo.     Taylor was right when she said evermore was folklore's sister record. It's amazing how the stories on both records are connected yet they tell new stories. Absolutely loved evermore. The lyrical cohesiveness is impressive, and the experimentation with new sounds and instruments is above and beyond. 2020 was a great year for Taylor Swift masterpieces.

    I'm not a fan of country music, nor a fan of slow jams. But I must admit that Swift's follow-up to the already very chill 'folklore' is a great album that takes everything I usually dislike but transforms it into something very fitting to end this troubled year. The opening track and lead single, willow, is a great song, it has much more potential than cardigan and is definitely a step into the right direction. The entirety of this album is often compared to folklore, if so, this definitely blew its sister out of the wind; to sum it up, evermore is mature, folklore is innocent. The storytelling focuses on much mature subjects, like murder on “no body, no crime”. Swift has made an irreversibly good decision to change paces from pop to alternative from folklore, and now she’s digging deeper. One or two songs may be a little slow for my liking, but nevertheless it’s a cohesive album with a top tier opener and closer, evermore, the title track, stands out with the lyricism, change of tempo and Bon Iver. Some of my favorites would be champagne problems and ‘tis the damn season (which was unexpected). I will definitely be listening to this and folklore for the next few months nonstop.… Expand

    This is the sister of Folklore, so compare them is not fair. Evermore give us a trip under a magical, tragic and beautiful stories, we have to lay down, close our eyes and let it transport us.

    Taylor Swift really has outdone herself on this album!! My favorites right now are “gold rush”, “champagne problems”, and the lead single “willow”. The sister album to folklore really is a shining example of her amazing writing and relatability even when writing about fictional stories.

    Incredible. we could argue about if it’s better than her sister Folklore but one thing for sure: nobody does it like Taylor. Nobody can. Even if she didn’t reach as high as Folklore - which i couldn’t decide yet - she would still outshine every mainstream artist out there with her talent. If folklore is the best album of 2020, evermore is the second... or maybe the best?

    Even though we get a catchy moment of goofy, snarling country midway through, the album is a result of the emotional clarity that a year in quarantine provided. Swift has written about curdling relationships splendidly in the past, but there's a new dimension to her writing that wasn’t there before. Onward.
