Guitarist Justin Hawkins’s vocals are a bit more subdued, but he still croons and belts with a natural swagger. His brother, guitarist Dan Hawkins, delivers solid riffs anchored by the strong rhythm section of bassist Frankie Poullain and drummer Rufus Taylor.

What surprises are heard on this record are few and far between, but hardcore fans will enjoy the grandeur and sense of ceremony that cements it.
