Nov 15, 2016A shorter running time means that Helmet has more time to play to their strengths while keeping a watchful eye on the things they’re curious about. For now, it’s a good balance, but surely Hamilton can’t be done screwing with the formula just yet.

Nov 11, 2016At no point during the album do Hamilton and crew feel like they're phoning it in, but the visceral moments are fleeting, and often tempered by melodic detours that fail to swing back around to assess the damage.
