Demi had done such an incredible job on Tell Me You Love Me, that I wondered if she’d be able to outdo her work on that album! Like always, she proved that she can exceed the highest of expectations. With emotional songs like I.C.U., The Way You Don’t Look At Me, Easy (ft. Noah Cyrus), and Good Place, it’s no wonder Lovato is known for not only her ballads, but her beautiful voice. As most know, Demi Lovato is one of the star vocalists in music today. What some may not realize, is that she canjust as easily provide airy vocals in her head voice. The more experimental tracks, The Art of Starting Over, Melon Cake, The Kind of Lover I Am, and Girlfriends Are My Boyfriend give glimmers of hope to the ups and downs of Lovato’s life after a near-fatal overdose in 2018. Disseram também que ana festa de natal irão contar para os parentes mais distantes e no ano novo lançarão baterias de fogos com seu nome.

    Contei esse seu feito também para alguns outros parentes mais próximos,    Mostrei pra todos aqui da minha familia, todos acharam muito surpreendente e pediram pra te dar os parabens, queriam falar com você pessoalmente se possivel para lhe parabenizar. Disseram também que ana festa de natal irão contar para os parentes mais distantes e no ano novo lançarão baterias de fogos com seu nome.

    Contei esse seu feito também para alguns outros parentes mais próximos, reagiram tal qual minha familia, pediram seu endereço para mandar cartões e mensagem de parabenização. All the songs connect and take you on a trip in your last years. It is noticeable that Demi Lovato is completely comfortable singing these songs, it is incredible. Knowing what she’s been through the past 4 years, I was expecting a heavy and dramatic album, but, although the lyrics clearly talks about those difficult times she lived, the balance with the melody and the storyline of the album makes easy to listen and like.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. ‘Dancing With The Devil... The Art Of Starting Over’ tells Demi’s full story since her addiction & overdose to nowdays that are better days! In ‘Anyone’ we can see her asking for help to her friends & family, telling that anyone is listening and she is tired of singing & praying; by that, we can observe a lyric paralel to her 2017 hit ‘Sober’, which she tells she is not sober anymore! Following the prelude, we go to ‘Dancing With The Devil’, the song represents, as shown on the newly released music video, Demi’s 2018 heroine overdose, that she was violated, drugged & almost died on a hospital bed, almost going to heaven, ‘closer than you know’, by that, we can see that ‘ICU’ is the continuation of her hospital story & the moment she had with her sister there, ‘Maddison’s Lullaby’! So after that, we observe that ‘Intro’ is the introduction or her new life, her rebirth, the starting over (as the next song, ‘The Art Of Starting Over’)!
