    Esse álbum é MUITO diferente de tudo que a Demi fez, é maduro e foge totalmente do que eu esperava que seria, foge totalmente do Tell Me You Love Me, é um pop hipster com influência alternativa. Vale muito a pena escutar principalmente quem não gostava dos trabalhos antigos dela, porque foge muito deles.

    This album is such a potion of life, gives me strength to keep living. In the first 3 songs you have a bad feeling, you cry a lot but when she comes on intro, omg, your life starts to shine, youre happy also in the sad songs, this is art, this is the art of starting over. I LOVE YOU DEMI

    Form the first song to the last, we are seeing Demi’s OD and journey to healing through no one else’s eyes but her own. She took 2 years off and came back stronger than ever. And it shows: vocally, lyrically and artistically. Demi has never released a mediocre album in her career but this is sure to be the best she’s done so far. This album is the best emotion conjuring and tear jerkingForm the first song to the last, we are seeing Demi’s OD and journey to healing through no one else’s eyes but her own. She took 2 years off and came back stronger than ever. And it shows: vocally, lyrically and artistically. Demi has never released a mediocre album in her career but this is sure to be the best she’s done so far. This album is the best emotion conjuring and tear jerking album released in a while. The slow songs were still captivating, evoking emotions and empathy you weren’t aware u had. Each song took u on a different journey, using every asset of her disposal to convey her journey: lyrics, melody, production, range, tone and dynamics. Despite being a relatively raw artist, this album took rawness too the next level, sending the listener on an rollercoaster of pain, regret and repentance.

    Through her anguish, Demi carves a new kind of pop she describes as “ethereal dream pop”, showing off a sweeter, more delicate range versus the heavy belts from her previous bodies of work. It’s obvious her vocals have gone next level while remaining relatively tame for her style of singing. Nonetheless, she wasn’t afraid to still show she had the range with money notes in both the title track and her collab with peer and friend, Ariana Grande, lending her vocals and writing chops to “I Met Him Last Night”, the albums next hit single.

    All in all we got to see the worst and most raw side of Demi while also witnessing her growth, both humanly, as an artist and as vocalist.    … Expand

    This album for me as a real concept of her true story. I had enjoyed by every single composition of the album. I would rate it like 80 points out 100 but here I can rate only 100 because I loved that release and I wish people could support her and maje it successful!

    O melhor álbum da nossa moreninha. Fiquei tão chocado e ao mesmo tempo orgulhoso dela ter contado a sua verdadeira história e a sua luta. Não consigo entender como alguém pode fazer mal a ela, mas foi muito gratificante assistir o clipe de Dancing with the devil e depois ir ouvindo o álbum porque realmente mostra que ela está tentando deixar tudo isso para trás. Enfim, só sei sentirO melhor álbum da nossa moreninha. Fiquei tão chocado e ao mesmo tempo orgulhoso dela ter contado a sua verdadeira história e a sua luta.     Never been a fan of Demi Lovato but after seeing her doc, I grew interest on her and found out she had an album coming out soon which was this. The album itself is great, the album openers are so raw and heartfelt. All the tracks are great too, I found it really enjoyable, good job Demi. My favourite song would probably be ICU

    A beautiful story of how she’s gone through everything that life has thrown at her and overcome it all the same. “Dancing with the Devil” is definitely the stand out track, along with “Good Place” and last year’s “Anyone” as detailed and heartfelt tales of her struggles, but the album saves itself from falling down a tunnel of self-pitying balladry by including the relaxed vibes of “MetA beautiful story of how she’s gone through everything that life has thrown at her and overcome it all the same. “Dancing with the Devil” is definitely the stand out track, along with “Good Place” and last year’s “Anyone” as detailed and heartfelt tales of her struggles, but the album saves itself from falling down a tunnel of self-pitying balladry by including the relaxed vibes of “Met Him Last Night” featuring Ariana Grande and the sassy breaks of “15 Minutes” and “My Girlfriends Are My Boyfriend” featuring Saweetie. I mean, there is so much differant genres in this album,there is R&B, Pop, Alternative, Indie, Hip-Hop and all of them fits so good with Demi's voice. Congrats Demi you deserves so much better.     The album is one of the best that Demi has, her voice as a singer grew, the melodies of the album I like too much, and the lyrics of the songs are just beautiful, the collaborations that this album has are too good, just a good album

    Absolutely beautiful. It tells an amazing story and it still full of life. Ballads, fun songs... it has everything. Love everything about it!

    An album full of the energy of a new beginning. Very well punctuated in the beginning the dark and painful part left behind in each next song. The vocal technique more refined than ever and the musicality of Demi Lovato manages to inspire everyone. A long album that we hear as if it were short.

    The opening three tracks are almost an EP in their own right, before a quick reset. Semi title track ‘The Art Of Starting Over’ begins anew, a straight forward bop that gets to the root of Demi’s recovery – her natural talent, her ear for pop magic, affording room for personal renewal.
