    I can usually tell whether or not an album is fire after one full listen. Just like Janelle Monae's "Dirty Computer", album, I enjoyed every single track. I can honestly say that the full album will stay in my "recently played" list. Each song reveals a portion of who she is. She is real, she struggles, and she succeeds. I Love This Album. She is Pure talent !

    I really like when artists with powerful voices show it off, and that's what Lizzo did in this album. She has a great voice and she sure knows that... and that's it, the only thing I can say I liked about this album. It's not a bad record, but I don't see it as something I would listen to again.     it is nice to see the years of hard work Lizzo has put in her career finally converge to a full body of work. the record turns up the volume on what we all already knew and love about her.

    "Cuz I Love You" is a very fun record to jam to. Lizzo has an infectious attitude, and some kick-ass vocals. You'll find yourself uncontrollably dancing to the beats and rhythms all over this record.

    Lizzo's big label debut is interesting in that it's not interesting at all, where's the personality from Big Grrrl? The album alternates between Love on the Brain doo wop to Betty Davis funk. The results are mixed to say the least. The uptempos, Lizzo's usual specialty, are especially disappointing with their bland production, but there are highlight singles like Juice and Tempo.     She sounds like a fat goat and Truth Hurt is one of the worst songs of all time. Why America is letting her have a hit... Also her personality is just pathetic. She can't deal with criticism and she's obsessed with charts. You need to calm down, like can you just go away?

I may not be an expert but I don’t have to be one when I know that this album its nothing compare to other female rap albums. When this album was released I had high expectations just to have them crashing down, This album was just really basic she didn’t change the “Rap game” ( to put it like that ) she didn’t have a huge impact and she really is what you call a one hit wonder.… Expand

    I really liked this album. Many of the songs have replay value and hit potential, if her label tried to get her a smash. I have a theory that if this were a Bruno Mars album, this would have huge success. Love this album :)

    Juice is fantastic and Tempo is decent, while the non-singles just appear to try too hard, whether it be the vocal delivery or the theme of female empowerment.

    I think this album is a solid album overall. Lizzo's vocals shine evidently throughout the album, but production-wise, most non-single songs often lack a concrete melody and are underproduced.

    If you don't feel self-empowerment only staring at this album cover, probably you a'int ready to appreaciate this greatness. Ruling the year with this gorgeous work, Melissa proves us that she's not only capable to be hitmaker with an old single, but she has more skills in store for us. Flute, stage presence and charismatic as hell, Lizzo may be the new supreme that we've been missing for a while

    This album is just perfect, it has no bad songs, so many bops, good lyrics, awesome instrumentals and it makes me feel so good when i’m listening to it. Deserved AOTY with “thank u, next”!

    The album sounds so cohesive, and besides, it's really fun to hear!
    I must confess that I did not have high expectations for this album. And in a way, I think that's exactly why it gave me the freedom to really enjoy the album, I felt really stuck the songs and what they had to tell me. Just really really fun!!

Her hit single "juice" is a fun body positive flex that got the world to pay attention to a plus sized pop star.     How would I describe this album in two words? Short and sweet. Okay technically those were 3 words but they were 2 adjectives; so I don’t know if that’s acceptable. You know what, never mind, this

    Lizzo has a lot to say in Cuz I Love You and sings in a fantastic and spectacular way about something that belongs to her: Her Body. An impeccable sound in genres such as Pop, Rock and Hip Hop

    Lizzo's new album "Cuz I Love You" is an ode to herself; or better yet an ode to self-love. It's an inspiring record that teaches listeners how to enjoy their own company.
