CHROMATICA is one of the best album since BORN THIS WAY. A 90's house dance club anthem hook signifies what the album is with matching high calibre vocals of Gaga and adding the fire of the album with collaboration with the high-rated pop star on this generation (Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK) and also the legend ELTON JOHN. This album will be featured on a gay festival or party.

    2. Transitions : So Smooth, oh my god, kudos to gaga, bloodpop and burn, it make the album better to listen as a whole, the track doesn't break up the emotion, it's a continuous journey.

    3. Pop perfection : songs are literally club bangers, very radio-friendly and hit potential! it has some the fame influenced sound that showcase a special features that gaga has (the robotic sound, catchy hook)

After many years of doing so many things, from making a jazz album, to acting in a movie and guest starring in a tv series, Lady Gaga returns to her roots that is the dance floor as she said it “The dance floor is mine I earned it.” With many hearing the two first singles they thought they knew everything.... HA! The album is NOTHING like I expected! The album is kind of like a dream, or a movie. It has interludes that fit in perfectly whenever a song is and the other starts. As for the songs it’s sorta everything you wanted it to be. While the instrumentals are amazing to dance on and the songs are really wonderful to listen to, the lyrics are darker and deal with topics everyone at least deals once in their lives with. And Gaga made the album for this reason! She wants for those who suffered and have been damaged to know they are not worthless and that having reactions to your trauma and fears is part of being human. The record is about finding your way back to the joys of life. If you have ever suffered something or you are suffering right now please listen to the album and you will cry! Cry of happiness, of sadness, and anger! You will laugh, smile, dance, every emotion you will have will come forward! If you wanna get laid Sour Candy is the song! If you want a sign from above then Sine From Above is the song for you! There’s something for everyone because “In Chromatica no thing is greater then the other!”

And finally my faves? Alice, Sine From Above, and 1000 Doves.

Have much fun listening to the album because you have no idea what’s in store :)

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Chromatica is an epic 6th Chapter of Lady Gaga's musical evolution, combining her most personal lyrics with a cohesive, contagious back-drop of the dance beats that launched her into fame. Broken into three Acts separated by beautiful string orchestral interludes that segway into the proceeding track(s), you won't know whether you want to cry, sing, dance, or all three. The album begins by declaring "my name isn't Alice but I'll keep searching for Wonderland." And, through each Act, Gaga uses her pain as inspiration to both escape and heal. Standout tracks include Alice, 911, Plastic Doll, Sour Candy featuring K-pop band BLACKPINK, Replay, and Sine From Above featuring Elton John in an epic, long-awaited collaboration. Stupid Love and Rain On Me, both Top 10 hits in the US, provide a more commercial and lighter sonic experience. Overall, this isGaga's sixth studio album offers listeners a glimpse into her inner world while advancing her signature sound to a new realm. Introspective and often dark lyrics juxtaposed with 90's house inspired dance with a cohesive narrative flow. The album is observant, celebratory, and complex while remaining accessible. The final act is contains some of her strongest work to date. Overall, this is a must hear pop music moment. Expand

The nostalgia in the production — a blend of crisp digital synth textures and ringing grooves drawn directly from '90s house music — further bolsters the shadowed euphoria of a song like "Sour Candy," in which Gaga is joined by the K-pop girl group Blackpink; "Sine from Above," featuring Elton John, gets a similar friction from the interplay between their voices.

Infectious, exciting and even a little hedonistic during some of the most confusing of modern times, now’s never been a better time to get lost in this new destination.

Chromatica’s frank grappling with the vagaries of Gaga’s brain – and the way fame exacerbates them – ends up feeling much more real than touring dive bars with a guitar and a Stetson ever did.
