This is different from anything she have done before. If you wanna really give it a decent review you have to do what any other critic should with any album of hers: take some time, feel free to appreciate and let the production and lyrics grown on you first. Gaga always surprises us with her versatility but for Chromatica, she stayed true to her ultimate dance pop root but adding some glitters of edm and house music, which is somehow refreshing. I would say this is one of the best pop albums this year so far. Give it a listen, you won't regret it!

I’ve been waiting for a Dance Record by Gaga for 7 years and I’m not afraid to say that it was worth it! Some songs gave me ARTPOP and Born This Way vibes and I’m here for it. The Lead single, Stupid Love, is the weakest track on the album for me. I really reccomend listening to the record from start to finish, not on shuffle. My fav tracks are probably 911, Babylon, Free Woman and Alice.

If Born This Way and ARTPOP would have had a baby it’d definitely be Chromatica, and this is exactly what her fans were expecting from her since late 2014, when her ARTPOP era concluded. This album is a fun journey through pain and traumatic experiences from Gaga.

Shout out to the transition from Chromatica II interlude to 911. Just epic.

Uno dei suoi miglior album, forse il migliore da tempo immemore. Ha la capacità di farti alzare e ballare anche se non ne avevi voglia. Le canzoni sono complesse nel loro mood dance anni 80/90. Una perla che mancava da allora.

An adrenaline fueled dance pop record, a return to Gaga’s EDM roots which she popularized almost a decade ago. Orchestral interludes transitioning to club bangers is something I never thought would be possible but Gaga proves she is a musical genius yet again. The nostalgia in the production — a blend of crisp digital synth textures and ringing grooves drawn directly from '90s house music — further bolsters the shadowed euphoria of a song like "Sour Candy," in which Gaga is joined by the K-pop girl group Blackpink; "Sine from Above," featuring Elton John, gets a similar friction from the interplay between their voices.

Chromatica’s frank grappling with the vagaries of Gaga’s brain – and the way fame exacerbates them – ends up feeling much more real than touring dive bars with a guitar and a Stetson ever did.
