Dark But Just A Game é outra faixa que merece atenção. Lana compôs a maior parte do álbum, exceto a faixa final, For Free, composta originalmente por Joni Mitchell.
Em geral, Chemtrails Over The Country Club é um ótimo álbum.

i think this is a really good album! it has lana's usual sound of an alternative/pop mix, but with folky undertones. as always, the lyricism is exceptional.

Overall: 9/10. People are judging this album too quickly, they call it bad in just one listen but after listening to it a couple times, it’s a masterpiece. It gives you that NFR vibes with a hint of Lust for Life and Honeymoon. The songs, lyrics, beat, melody are all emotional and it just gives you that vibe of calmness and brings out your feels.

It's an amazing album. I wish I ain't got a "but", however I do. I might be so wrong, but it feels like the songs have not a great identity. I guess I am saying this because of NFR. Anyway, after listen it for the second time, naturally the songs start to develop a stunning identity and the poetry start to get through you and the lyrics just get attached. Lana is such a talented songwriter.

Lana opens up the album with an amazing song, arguably one of her best songs, White Dress. It's fragile, beautiful, poetic, unique, sincere. I loved the whole albums vibe, it's different, it's creative, it's beautiful. Definitely a strong album. I have few personal skips like Not All Who Wander Are Lost and Breaking Up Slowly but I still think these songs have their own charm too. She knows how to make a big album. Welcome back, Lana. "Chemtrails" is a very unique experience, influenced by a more folk and country sound than the past. "White Dress" deserves a place in Heaven, as well as the title track, "Chemtrails over the Country Club", perhaps one of the most catchy in the album. While obviously aware of her, it was this albums predecessor, "NFR" that properly turned me onto Lana Del Rey and got me hooked. Del Rey is a real enigma and there are blurred lines between fiction and fact, herself and Lizzy Grant and as a result her albums are fascinating listens for fans of pop music. In fact, White Dress is one of the best songs on the record and possibly her best opening track. The title track is another one of my favorites. I like the inclusion of AutoTune in the background of Tulsa Jesus Freak. The last 40 seconds of Wild At Heart, OMG!! That bass line on Breaking Up Slowly, loves it. Great album. Expand

The experimentation that the artist brings in her seventh album he the quality of her compositions. The greatest songwriter since Joni Mitchell.

This album shows how Lana del Rey has been more mature. She experiment a lot with the music. Her voice is different comparing other albums. Is a great album, probably the "softest and sweet" one. The first time that I heard this album I didn't like. After the re-visit it change my mind. Amazing work!

It’s hard to resist the sensory impact of these songs. Chemtrails picks up the nostalgic thread of 2019’s Norman Fucking Rockwell!, though here she’s mostly Midwest and more melodic. [Jun 2021, p.25]

“Tulsa Jesus Freak” is arguably closest to the Lana Del Rey longtime fans know and love, and it’s no surprise that it was written in 2019, around the time NFR! came out. “Yosemite” is another highlight, a stunning number with Del Rey’s vocals at their best. But most songs on Chemtrails don’t stand out. They blend together in their delicateness.

[Closing track] aside, most of the 11 songs on Chemtrails are melodically and vocally substantive, replete with sensual hooks and evocative images.
