It is atmospherical, vibey, consistent and one of Del Rey's career highlights for sure.
Chemtrails is a intimate masterpiece, with a perfect storytelling that only Lana can do.

The way she's lining into country on this album, bust still remaining though too the sound we know her so well for! It's just amazing!

Chemtrails Over The Country Club is Lana Del Rey’s most underrated project to date. Though considered a weak follow-up to her previous album, “NFR!”, Chemtrails features some of her best production yet (thank Jack Antonoff) and some her most captivating lyrics. Songs like White Dress, Tulsa Jesus Freak, Wild At Heart, Dark But Just A Game, & Breaking Up Slowly are worth mentioning, butChemtrails Over The Country Club is Lana Del Rey’s most underrated project to date. Songs like White Dress, Tulsa Jesus Freak, Wild At Heart, Dark But Just A Game, & Breaking Up Slowly are worth mentioning, but that doesnt necessarily mean the other 6 tracks aren’t up to par. Del Rey’s voice is angelic & clearcut for all listeners to enjoy. The album is clearly meant for listeners with an aquired taste, so don’t go in expecting pop…this is folk perfection. Easy listening throughout the entire record. Expand

Album này có lẽ là một sự kết hợp hoàn hảo giữa vocals và instrumental. Các track đầu của album phải nói là tuyệt vời, hay không cần phải bàn cãi

What would you do if I told you, you make me crazy
To see your pretty pics on Sunset Boulevard?
And it makes me lazy, so I smoke cigarettes Just to understand the smog I love you lots, like polka-dots You're killing me more Than coffee pots and Insta dots With every drop I pour And if I had to do it all Again I would because, babe, in the end It brought me here to you I left Calabasas,

It brought me here to you
I left Calabasas, escaped all the ashes
    Ran into the dark
And it made me wild, wild, wild at heart
The cameras had flashes, they caused the car crashes
    But I'm not a star
If you love me, you'll love me
'Cause I'm wild, wild at heart

    What would you do
If I wouldn't sing for them no more?
Like if you heard I was out in the bars drinking Jack and Coke
Goin' crazy for anyone who would listen to my stories, babe?
Time after time, I think about leaving
But you know that I never do, just 'cause you keep me believing
I love you lots, despite the odds
    You're killing me, Joe
And all these thoughts brought us apart
    And that's okay, too
'Cause even in the worst of times
You saw the best of me
And that's why I stay here with you
I left Calabasas, escaped all the ashes
    Ran into the dark

Tbh I would rate it 8/10. Not my cup of tea. I tried to love it when it came out but I absolutely hate country music. Folk walks a thin line bordering country. I rate it 10/10 because I love Lana too much not to help her garner attention again. Even through sites that don't have much impact at first glance.

She is not into mainstream pop anymore and that's may be sad for many. But this is what she wants and what she has. And this is an album that the music industry needed so much. A true highlight!

Yosemite and the first minute if “Wild at heart” makes me feel in a way that I can’t explain. The lyrics of Yosemite, Not all those who wonder are lost, are also unrealistically amazing. She makes me feel calm and understood.

Lana Del Rey has once again proved how much she is the greatest artist of all time. Each album is chic and has a different style and aura. The lead single is a holy creation.

This album had a lot to compete with. Lots of del Rey's fans, or enjoyers of her previous album "Norman **** Rockwell!", expected a lot from this album. Her most cohesive, dreamy, and soft album since honeymoon. Occasional lack in lyricism exists but is made up for by the range in vocals and production.

It’s hard to resist the sensory impact of these songs. Chemtrails picks up the nostalgic thread of 2019’s Norman Fucking Rockwell!, though here she’s mostly Midwest and more melodic. [Jun 2021, p.25]

“Tulsa Jesus Freak” is arguably closest to the Lana Del Rey longtime fans know and love, and it’s no surprise that it was written in 2019, around the time NFR! came out. “Yosemite” is another highlight, a stunning number with Del Rey’s vocals at their best. But most songs on Chemtrails don’t stand out. They blend together in their delicateness.

[Closing track] aside, most of the 11 songs on Chemtrails are melodically and vocally substantive, replete with sensual hooks and evocative images.
