    Camila really is trying to put herself into this, and I think it bodes well for what we're going to get in the future. I see mixed reviews of some people wanting less ballads, but at the same time they want her to be different. Her having more ballads is where she IS different, this is where she is really telling us something, on those songs. And I think if people really listen to the lyrics, instead of just a cursory listen, you'll find that Camila could have very bright future indeed, she is turning into a good writer.

    My biggest complaint is that at times I feel like there is too much auto-tuning. Camila's voice does not need this, at all, she is capable of producing that sound without help. I also would rather we'd gotten something other than a radio edit of Never Be The Same, perhaps the no rap version of Havana? I do understand the change in direction and some songs not being ready, as to why we don't have the song she did with Ed or Charlie XCX writing with her, and I look forward to what we get in the future.

    The zero ratings are coming from mainly two places: people not voting right given what they wrote (positive notes, but bad score), and pressed fans from her former girl group. To give a zero to the album, as if it has absolutely nothing on it worth anyone's time, is petty and disingenuous, and just not true (most of them were bopping to Havana even if they don't want to admit it.)

    Admittedly, this isn't for everyone, I wasn't even OPEN to pop music in general until I started listening to 5H and found something about them that spoke to me, in large part because of Camila's voice being so unique, and because they seemed to project this very positive girl empowerment theme. But I listen closer to what Camila is saying, not just the overall sound, and I'm finding music I can identify with, music I wish I'd had years ago.    … Expand

    CAMILA is one of the best album I've heard in such a long time. From balades to dancing songs, this is truly an album that can make you travel through a variety of differents emotions.

    A passionate, mature and relatable album. Camila shows us that she's not only a singer but also a songwriter. The songs are great and her voice is what shines the most. She is a star. I love it.

    A lyrical masterpiece. You can tell that she put her everything in her when writing these lyrics. Her vocals throughout each song were incredible, unique and oh so beautiful. The production behind...I have no words. Worth listening to over and over and over again.

    I’ve never gotten butterflies in my stomach like this album has given me. I hope everyone gives this album a listen all the way through!! Camila is an extraordinary singer/song writer! Each song makes me feel something inside. I think it’s incredible when an artist’s music can make you feel what they had gone through or experienced. I’m so happy for her and proud of her!!!     ¨CAMILA¨ exceeded all my expectations, without a doubt it is one of the best albums I've heard in a long time, her voice is beautiful, the lyrics and the rhythms of the songs are perfect, I can not stop playing it. It is not the typical pop album, she is not the typical teen idol and it shows in her talent and in her hard work. I just loved the album.

    Camila is a wonderful artist and her debut album is delicious and wonderful. She brought her latin influences, mainly in her smash hit Havana and She Loves Control (which deserved to be a single). This album is incredible and unforgettable.

    An absolutely amazing album. A good representation of who Camila is as a lyricist and as an artist. Typically I do not enjoy every song on an album, and there are tracks that I will skip, however this album is the exception. I really enjoy every track and think it is a very cohesive album. There are upbeat songs, and there are also slower songs that are quite emotional. It is a very goodAn absolutely amazing album. A good representation of who Camila is as a lyricist and as an artist.     a really good debut album, the ballads are my favorite, the lyrics are so deep and I'm impresed the camila has credit in every song, it's sooo much better when you like a certain song and then find out the artist write too, tha no happen in some of the main pop girls. amazing album.

    Those vocals, LYRICS and sounds are amazing. The fact that she co-wrote all the songs has me amazed. It has been on loop since it came out, its so much better than I expected and I expected A LOT. Probably my favorite album ever!

    One of the best album's i have heard in a long time. You can hear her pain in consequences and something's gotta give, the powerful in those two songs is unbelievable, Camila you make me cry and that is not easy, you have my whole heart and money since 2012. Keep shining can't wait for your tour. Good things happen to good people.

    Her voice melted softly with every single song. Is colorful even when the album has just 10 song (without mention that the track 11 is just a "Never Be The Same" radio edit version) Camila Cabello worked hard with this album and she take it seriously. Congratulations for her.

    Camila is an excellent album which represents Cabello's latin origins very preciously, besides the fact that her voice is memorable and unforgettable. She has definitely shown the best of her potential when she left Fifth Harmony.

    Un álbum con la sensibilidad en su máxima expresión, su melodía, su letra, su voz (en la cual no era necesario usar cantidad de autotune, espero su productor lo sepa). Felicidades y gracias Camila, tu trabajo y pasión por la música se refleja en este álbum debut, espero mucho de esa chica y luego de escuchar esta pieza maestra estoy segura me seguirá sorprendiendo.

    Camila's album is such a fresh record like u can distincly hear that there is a difference in every song. It's pretty clear that some tracks have gotten influenced by others' artists but each one of them still remains having a strong uniqueness & it's really captivating.

    “Never Be the Same” proves that Cabello doesn’t need a mammoth voice. The love-is-a-drug lyric she’s singing is dumb, but she sells it so joyfully that you don’t even notice, and its wonderfully breathy, high-register hook ensures “Havana” won’t be her last solo hit.
