    If i had to describe this using one word i'd say masterpiece. Full of emotions and melodies that will take you to another world. Can't wait for her second album Romance, that will definetely overcome my expectations!!!

    It’s a journey and if you pay close enough it tells a really interesting story about growth. It’s a pop album but it reminds me a lot of early Taylor Swift in the storytelling way of the lyrics. If it doesn’t sell to you on the first listen look the performances, Camila Cabello make a good song 100000% better when she sings it live!

    Truly one of the most RAW and HONEST albums from 2018. Although the production seems of lesser quality than the music she is producing right now, she still delivered solid vocals. The lyrics are on (in my opinion) the level of Taylor Swift. I don't know how to explain it, but she sounds the way the lyrics feel, from just the raw emotion in her unique voice when shes singing a ballad orTruly one of the most RAW and HONEST albums from 2018.     This album is so incredibly wonderful. Instead of going with generic pop songs she chose to put songs with actual meaning and feelings. It’s her debut album and she could’ve chosen to go the “safe route” but no she is constantly surprising us.

Porém, o seu álbum Camila é um compilado de músicas completamente sem inovações se botarmos em geral. É um álbum apenas OK e recomendo ouvir quando você não tem outros para ouvir mesmo. Músicas repetitivas e algumas chegam a dar ânsia de tanta repetição que é o caso de Inside out. Porém, obviamente, possui seus prós: Into it. Into it, considerada por mim a melhor do álbum, é a melhor na batida (que lembra muito Sober da Lorde... Que inclusive ela autorizou a utilizar o instrumental e por isso a música se destaca das outras) e na letra. É a que diferencia do álbum, pois não tem toda aquela melação de idealização de um amor ou um amor partido. É a mais MADURA no álbum. É nessa música que ela se torna MULHER. Nas outras porém, dá impressão de apenas uma menina sonhadora... Dá uma impressão nada diferencial em seu álbum, pois vários álbuns possuem essa característica.… Expand

"Crying in the Club", "OMG" and "I Have Questions" are some of Cabello's best works, but unfortunately, these amazingly-crafted tracks are not included in the formerly titled 'The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving.' album.

    Camila had her big challenge of facing her solo career and in that first huge album. The choice of single was partially commercial and are the worst of the album in exceptions! The album lacks a technique and its due involvement of Camila in some productions, but this did not disappoint and I expect much more of the next album!

    A very strong album with every track contributing something different. Camila's vocals make this an instant success, and each and every song is a work of art. The album was a little short, however, and has room for more songs to create even more of an affect.

    I felt like this album didn't really stick with me past a few weeks after its release. It's cute, sure, and there are definitely highlights (havana, She Loves Control), but on the whole it can be a bit bland and Camila's voice can sometimes be aggravating (especially on Never be The Same)

    The first album where I have listened to every track straight away, since Adele's 25. A perfect debut, that's not drawn out, too long or too overload on popular trends right now. And what I found most impressive is that 80% of the songs are single worth. Well done, Camila Cabello.

    Not really my taste in music, but I'm just one person and there are still songs on this album I love. The album as a whole seemed like generic pop, and each song had little to no variety in sound. But the album still definitely has gems and was the perfect debut album for Camila.

    Camila is an excellent pop record, and a welcome change from the 2017/2018 pop norm. It doesn't try to be like everybody else. The likes of Dua Lipa, Anne-Marie are great pop artists, but their sound feels overly current and are very likely to date. Camila on the other hand, keeps things simple and classic. Gorgeous production, sweet melodies, no vocal show boating and no over-usage ofCamila is an excellent pop record, and a welcome change from the 2017/2018 pop norm.     Camila Cabello is one of the rising pop girls that I am watching very closely. Her self-titled debut album satisfied my anticipation after I got hooked by her singles preceded by her albums. The album is catchy, fun, and some tracks also showed vulnerability. She got me.

    This is a great pop album. It's short, with a minimal number of filler tracks (Something's Gotta Give, In the Dark). it's got the requisite bangers (Havana, Never Be the Same, She Loves Control), and some really touching ballads (All These Years, Consequences). The ballads are a particular standout for me. Camila is one of the few pop stars that comes off as a legitimately sympatheticThis is a great pop album. It's short, with a minimal number of filler tracks (Something's Gotta Give, In the Dark). it's got the requisite bangers (Havana, Never Be the Same, She Loves Control), and some really touching ballads (All These Years, Consequences). The ballads are a particular standout for me. Camila is one of the few pop stars that comes off as a legitimately sympathetic person, and her vocal performances are sincere and polished without being too perfect--great example is on Consequences ("steady place to let down my my defenseeeees"... "and I lost so much more than my senses"). I love her vocal performance on this song. The way she transitions from falsetto to her more natural alto is thrilling... she isn't afraid to let the natural grit and coarseness of her voice shine. This is in contrast to the unending breathiness of so many of her pop vocalist contemporaries. It's a nice, if subtle contrast to the current vocal zeitgeist.

    The songwriting is pretty consistently good for the genre. Havana is of course a smash, and Young Jeffery does a great job incorporating some interesting flows and his unique timbre is a good pairing with Camila's voice. The ballads are fantastic. Overall the songwriting is pretty traditional, but nonetheless very effective. There is a good, consistent tension between buildup and release, and the chord progressions feel inspired even though they are nothing new. The hooks are sticky as hell. The instrumentation is rather par for the course, but nevertheless effective.

    Super excited to see where CC takes her art next. I think paired with the right songwriters, she has wonderful potential.    … Expand

    Algo decepcionado la verdad. Los tres adelantos indicaban y marcaban una decente dirección para el album. Me esperaba algo mas de latineo al estilo Havana.

    -Never be the same: De lo mejor del disco. Un sencillo tema pop con aires melancólicos y hasta depresivos. -All these years: Nada mal. Una simpática balada con guitarra donde la voz de Camila suena amena y preciosa. -She loves    Algo decepcionado la verdad. Los tres adelantos indicaban y marcaban una decente dirección para el album. Me esperaba algo mas de latineo al estilo Havana.

    -Never be the same: De lo mejor del disco. Un sencillo tema pop con aires melancólicos y hasta depresivos.
    -All these years: Nada mal. Una simpática balada con guitarra donde la voz de Camila suena amena y preciosa.
    -She loves control: Primer batacazo del disco. Una especie de reggaeton popero sobre producido.
    -Havana: Primer adelanto del disco. Temazo que va creciendo con escuchas. El tema mejora después del rap de Young thug donde entran unas trompetas que dan encanto a la canción.
    -Inside Out: Mantiene un poco el nivel de sus predecesores. Samples tropicales bastante usado y que nos llevan atosigando desde hace casi 2 años.
    -Consequences: Balada simple e intrascendente. Parece un descarte de Lana del rey.
    -Real friends: me gustaría decir que eleva un poco el disco, pero ahí anda. Después de All these years pues como que el tema se queda corto.
    -Somethings gotta give: Nada, mas de lo mismo. Balada pop con una base electrónica exagerada. Peor aún que consequences.
    -In the dark: Se soporta. Como este hay mil iguales y mejores. No empeora el disco pero tampoco lo mejora

    Album full of bops! Everysong is single worthy, but i think She Loves Control/In The Dark/Into It should be the next single after Havana and Never Be The Same

Songs like Havana, Real Friends, In the Dark are playing pretty good to Camila's strengths, even if his voice sounds a little over-produced and she doesn't have a phenomenal or super recognizable voice. This album, to be an solo debut, it's even than Fifth Harmony has made in the past, with sometimes interesting lyrics,Such an overrated record, but it's still pretty enjoyable pop music. Songs like Havana, Real Friends, In the Dark are playing pretty good to Camila's strengths, even if his voice sounds a little over-produced and she doesn't have a phenomenal or super recognizable voice. This album, to be an solo debut, it's even than Fifth Harmony has made in the past, with sometimes interesting lyrics, catchy hooks and a great production bringed by Frank Dukes. 6.5/10, nice album, with some flaws and playing very safe all the way through but I'll be interested what route gonna have Camila Cabello to the next album.

    "Camila" is a beautiful album, but it's assessed way too highly. It's just a regular pop album to me. I think people just like Cabello.

    I appreciate Camila's delivery on the songs and the inclusion of sounds from her ethnicity. Her voice is unique and beautiful. Overall, this was a good debut album. She had some great songs (Havana, Real Friends). However, I found that most of the other songs had a familiar sound and felt as if they were filler songs for her "hits." Considering her past with the group I was expecting a first album full of super produced songs and with the goal of reaching the charts. I did not expect to like the album at all, even thought that as a solo artist she would flop because in the old days her voice was very hight pitch, an entire album with a hight pitch voice was not going to work for me. The fifth harmony songs worked because they contained four other members and four other different voices. But her voice is super different on this album, so smooth and melodic. I'm really impressed!     Fantastic debut, great sonic style, great up-tempo songs and surprisingly good Ballard's as well. Would've been even better of fleshed out a bit in places.

    This album has been on repeat for me since it came out! She outdid what I thought she could! For this being her debut album, it exceeded every expectation. She has come so far both lyrically and vocally. I couldn't be more proud of what she has achieved.

    This is the only album that made my cry and smile at the same time, it's loaded with rawr emotions and you can feel it even if you are not emotional person. It's also the only album on which I loved every song.

    I liked her style, it's not a masterpiece, but its good for a debut album. Some songs are really passionate made me have goosebumps, and i felt what i thought she was feeling while singing them, but at another part some songs are forgettable, and some songs lack good production behind it.

    When delivering your first album, you must have at least one or two guaranteed hits. While 'CAMILA' fails to match another 'Havana' it is the most interesting emotional roller coaster a debutant like Miss Cabello can give. 'Never be the same', 'Consequences', 'Into it' the best cuts off the album.

    “Never Be the Same” proves that Cabello doesn’t need a mammoth voice. The love-is-a-drug lyric she’s singing is dumb, but she sells it so joyfully that you don’t even notice, and its wonderfully breathy, high-register hook ensures “Havana” won’t be her last solo hit.
