    This album seems to be very good, when you start playing the first track I really feel like an alien , a very good music , but in an album that is not even good. The second song for me and also good . Perfume then forget it . After that you get a drastic decline that began in the second song and rose slightly in the third and died from the fourth .     Spears is an artist who has always had an incredible production team behind her, and before this record was released she had never had a bad album. Unfortunately, 'Britney Jean' fails where her other records have flourished. It is incredibly flawed, none of the tracks seem to piece together and though songs like 'Alien' and 'Work ****' are admittedly strong tracks alone, in the mish-mashSpears is an artist who has always had an incredible production team behind her, and before this record was released she had never had a bad album. It is incredibly flawed, none of the tracks seem to piece together and though songs like 'Alien' and 'Work ****' are admittedly strong tracks alone, in the mish-mash production that runs throughout this record, they are lost gems. Other songs that stand out amongst the wreckage are 'Til It's Gone' and 'Passenger', these nod slightly towards the album fans and critics alike would certainly hope to hear from the pop icon; however as a whole the record just doesn't seem to work. There is no defending the low points of this album that come in the form of robotic, badly written hook-ups with will.i.am or the cringeworthy "duet" with Spears' sister Jamie Lynn. It does say a lot that a Britney album is still quite an exciting thing in this decade, however there is not much to get hyped about with this one.… Expand

    Very poppy and upbeat album from the 90s teen star Britney Spears. Full for energy, but unfortunately often it gets too too much with the bass, it takes over the song and it is tiring. Mixed emotions about this one.. The more I listen to the songs, the less I like them. The songs I actually can cope with is "Perfume", "Alien" and "Don't Cry". Generally: Not impressed.

    Raw emotion at its finest. Coming in strong with her 8th studio album, Britney Spears delivers some of her most uncut and personal songs to date. With heart throbbing ballads like "Perfume" and EDM anthems like "Work B**ch", this album is truly a showcase of the versatility of Ms. Spears. Britney Jean is arguably the best album of 2013.

    One of the best Pop albuns of world. Don't follow the Britney Spears's genre, however, it's yet a great one. Work **** shows the best of the album. It's for sure, if you buy Britney Jean, you'll have no regret.

De verdad, que tenga de puntuacion 50 es mucho, es un album terrible que no debio existir, solo se salvan (para mi) Alien, Work **** Perfume, Tik Tik Boom, Body Ache, Chillin' With You entre otras, pero de verdad, este album es pesimo, inclusive las que se salvan no son la gran cosa...     Britney you lack talent to make good albums actually something you almost never met is talent.
    His album is less than virtually everything heard in my life , never will recover me an album so rubbish like that.
    I 'm ashamed to say that hearing this, I would rather be deaf than hear another bad job of these .

    Starts off really well with William Orbit's fantastic production and Britney's solid vocals on opening track, Alien. Lead single, Work **** packs a punch with its pounding beat and Britney doing her fun British accent. Next comes a Sia-penned ballad called Perfume, which is one of Britney's best ballads of all time. It Should Be Easy is awful with its dated production and    A mixed bag.

Next comes a Sia-penned ballad called Perfume, which is one of Britney's best ballads of all time. It Should Be Easy is awful with its dated production and featuring Executive Producer of the album, WillIAM. Tik Tik Boom is repetitive and not of Britney's normal standard - it should never have made the final cut. Body Ache has some fizz, but nothing spectacular. Til It's Gone is forgettable - another WillIAM mess. Passenger is a decent song, but should Britney really be recording Katy Perry's rejects? Surely she deserves better than that. A duet with her sister on Chillin' With You is one of the worst songs Britney has ever recorded. Don't Cry sounds like it belongs on a flop girl band's album. Brighest Morning Star is too sentimental and reminds me of the terrible song, My Baby, she recorded for the Circus album. Hold On Tight is boring and sounds like another Katy Perry reject. Now That I Found You is another mistake - a Eurovision-type song that probably wouldn't even win. A Perfume remix adds nothing to the album.

    Britney made a huge mistake spending so much time on her Vegas residency whilst recording this album in a rush and not caring about the low quality. WillIAM's production is - on the whole - bad. The song choices were not great. Maybe 3 or 4 tracks deserved to make the final cut - the rest is trash.    … Expand

    At least not so much.
    The controversy of this album isn't solely on Britney, she was rebelling for her freedom and people should've supported her basic human rights.

    The best thing on this albums are the lyrics. Britney said that this is her most personal albums and the lyrics show us that.
    But the rest is bad. I can't believe that Britney Spears released this album. The typical will.i.am sound doesn't sound good on her, the album has glitches, and that mess with MM. Without a dount, Britney's worst album to the date.

    As if it wasn´t bad enough to here a full album not being able to recognize the singer's voice, this is just a set of forgetable edm tracks, without a sense of meaning. It´s a big disappointment, especially after the powerful "Femme Fatale".

In hindsight, there is alot to like on this album. 'Work B' is an addictive, throbbing banger with Spears speaking in a british accent. It was and still is weird and wonderful. Other tracks that stand out are 'Alien', 'Body Ache' and 'Tik Tik Boom', albiet a very questionable rap from T. I. Most other tracks are happy to stay in a certain lane that was similar to all music of that time. The production wasn't half pushing the envelope as her previous, nor her vocals (which have been speculated) didn't seem totally her. With mostly half hearted tracks and not much in lyrical content. It was definitely not a personal album, but there are fun moments to be had here.… Expand

Along with that, the production is mediocre to bad. Sure, I like some songs in the album like 'Perfume' and 'Don't Cry', but that doesn't mean that the rest of the album is good. Songs like 'Body Ache' have really aged badly and songs like 'Chillin With You' are just straight out bad on first listens. Even 'Alien' has a noticeable glitch in the middle and that is all in part of will.i.am's production. No wonder people hate on this album, it would've been way better if Britney was actually fully present on this album and the production hadn't been dated.… Expand

Britney Jean is far from being Britney's most personal effort, the 10 songs on this album blatantly show that this was nothing but a promotional tool for her vegas residency, as none of these songs sound like Britney was even there to record them. However, its infectious melodies and hooks led me to come back for more and it has become her only album associated as a guilty pleasure, because though the songs are good, they are not sung by Britney in their entirety.… Expand

It’s personal, introspective and beautiful tracks like “Don’t Cry”, “Alien”, and “Passenger”, are where the album truly shines and radiates a mature, vulnerable Britney we aren’t used to seeing. But the album also perfectly keeps the quintessential Britney image that we all love with songs like the bold “Work **** and the sexy “Tik Tik Boom”.This is by far Britney Spears’ best album. It’s personal, introspective and beautiful tracks like “Don’t Cry”, “Alien”, and “Passenger”, are where the album truly shines and radiates a mature, vulnerable Britney we aren’t used to seeing. But the album also perfectly keeps the quintessential Britney image that we all love with songs like the bold “Work **** and the sexy “Tik Tik Boom”. However, at times the album drifts off into generic and vapid tracks such as “It Should Be Easy” and “Body Ache”. But overall it is a great album and is my favorite she has ever done.
