This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This album really shows how much lana has grown throughout the years, not just as a musician but also as a person. Some parts of the album seem so random but it fits in so perfectly. She’s spontaneous about her music and although there are a few songs where it’s her doing what she usually does, she tries something new with every single one of the songs. The album is just great overall and I’ve been listening to it on repeat. Expand

Blue Banister contains powerful lyrics, a great symphony, I must said that “The Trio” interlude is such an amazing composition. Violins on Thunder are heavenly. Amazing Album!

Such a great album, the raw vocals and abstract story telling is very new with this album. Some of the best lyricism and musical effect in all Lana history. Definitely close to the top of her best album alongside ultraviolence

This is one of the best. I love that you can hear "old ultraviolence" vibes (living legend/cherry blossom) with the "newest nfr/chemtrails" vibes (dealer/text book/blue banisters).
It's like a mix of some eras.
I can't stop listening to this album and i'm sure it'll age well.
Unpopular opinion - i liked demo version of thunder better.

Lana's most self-honest album to date. All songs are an amazing way through of what, i think, she started with Chemtrails. Maybe for some people this album is simple, even if it's not, but lana described herself as simple and wants that for her life so idk why they want her to put a new BTD or UV like she wasn't feeling really bad atm, I mean boths albums are amazing but it's a discographyLana's most self-honest album to date. Also, she's not putting anyone but herself, like she's finally come to the point where she is who she is and it's fine with it and no one gets to change that because that's what makes her different, individualistic speaking, like in "Beautiful". I'm glad that she's is happy

This album really could translate the small details we are living in into music. So complicated. But simple at the same time. I guess that's the power of Lana del Rey

Blue Banisters es el mejor álbum, a mi gusto se superó vocalmente, además de meter Jazz, siempre hablaba sobre jazz en sus canciones, y por fin lo hizo en su música. Merece todo está mujeeeeer.

Not a single bad track on this thing. Lana experiments vocally and sonically and it turns into a wonderful listening experience. While listening to Blue Banisters there will be quite a few times where you go from bawling your eyes out to tweaking profusely but that’s just the magic of Lana Del Rey!

While the days of Born to Die have long since passed, Lana Del Rey is still seeking paradise, closer now than ever as she turns her search inward, seemingly recognizing that paradise is ultimately found within the best of oneself. Still, if there is indeed a physical Arcadia to be revealed, it has not emerged in its entirety on Blue Banisters. That said, its intoxicating hints are enough to keep seekers thirsty.
