    It's just an album of solid catchy Cheap Trick-esque hard rock. I think their induction into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame around the album's release served as a coincidental promotional tool for the album and even for the band in general. For those just discussing Cheap Trick thanks to their induction, Bang Zoom Crazy Hello is not a bad place to start off...though ideally do start off with Heaven Tonight or Dream Police.… Full Review »

    Finally gave this a listen against my better judgement given that I loved Cheap Trick back in the day. Sorry boys, but this is just lame and derivative. 40 years later and their style hasn't moved one inch. I had to go listen to their first 3 albums again just to clear this mush out of my ears.

    Only No Direction Home had any spark for me and that was just okay. Fans should pass on this one and just enjoy the old stuff.    … Full Review »

They are way more accessible to mainstream music fans and arguably, they have been way more consistent in the quality of their music AND they haven't had to endure (until now) the loss of a single member.
