    Bahdeni Nami isn’t a bad record, exactly, but it’s not quite the best place to crack into Souleyman’s catalogue (which, if you believe estimates, stretches to a mindboggling 500 recordings).

    This album is total crap, don't believe that 77 score to the left. It's throw away, never listen to it again, kind of crap. I think they mostly like Omar's terrific moustache and Four Tet/Apparat/Moderat/Modeselektor seem to be into him, for reasons unknown. Syncretism aside, this album is not worth it.… Full Review »
