    It's absolutely worth a listen. I have a difficult time picturing any fan with diverse taste in quality music not appreciating what a beautiful debut this is. My taste spans from Dillinger to Massive Attack to Fiona and Vince Staples. I agree with the PJ Harvey comparison one 'professional' critic mentioned. I hate to compare her to anyone; but when the first artist that comes to mindIt's absolutely worth a listen.     Tomberlin's use of one phrase to build the songs from is particularly powerful because of how it musically mirrors the process of introspection and the location of one memory or instance to probe for revealing insights. She chronicles her loss of faith with a bittersweet melancholy that finds self-awareness to be its own form of enlightenment. Like the ethereal light of the early morning, she rises.

    At Weddings doesn't allow itself to wallow. If anything, it's Tomberlin sharing with us her own form of catharsis, a collection of intimate and powerful songs that sift through life's more disappointing and challenging moments to find the beauty we sometimes overlook.
