    This is my favorite movie soundtrack of all time, my favorite album of 2018, and is one of my top 5 favorite albums of all time. Every song was written spectacularly. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's voices were beautiful on the album. When Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper sang together their voices blended together beautifully. I loved ever single second listening to this album. I loved everThis is my favorite movie soundtrack of all time, my favorite album of 2018, and is one of my top 5 favorite albums of all time. Every song was written spectacularly. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's voices were beautiful on the album. When Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper sang together their voices blended together beautifully. I loved ever single second listening to this album. I loved ever song on the album so it was hard to pick my favorites so instead I ranked them from 1 to 19 based on how much I enjoyed each song and my ranking is Shallow, Always Remember Us This Way, Black Eyes, I'll Never Love Again, Is That Alright?, Before I Cry, Alibi, Look What I Found, Maybe It's Time, Diggin, My Grave, Heal Me, Music To My Eyes, I Don't Know What Love Is, Too Far Gone, La Vie En Rose, Why Did You Do That?, Hair Body Face, Out Of Time, and I'll Never Love Again (extended version). Also I love the albums cover because of how the whole thing is black and white except for the bright gold lettering. A++.… Expand

    It's an amazing soundtrack album. Listening to it makes me feel like watching the iconic movie all over again. I really appreciate how they put the dialogue between the tracks. It blends different genres of music together into creating this masterpiece. A very enjoyable experience.

    This is undoubtedly an amazing album from beginning to end. Bradley proved his talent is boundless dipping Into music so seamlessly I was delightfully shocked hearing his voice own this soundtrack.     Best Vocal Performance of Gaga's career so far and Bradley's performance is exciting as-well! Honorable tracks: Shallow, Before I Cry, Is That Alright, Always Remember Us This Way, I'll Never Love Again and La Vie En Rose. The Pop tracks also give a cute sound to the soundtrack. Best album of the year!

Although some missteps (Why Did You Do That, Hair Body Face) and unnecessary dialogues (Somewhere Over The Rainbow, Fabulous French, Unbelievable and Scene 98), don't ruin the flow of the soundtrack. Gaga voice burst of emotions, and Cooper is an asset too. His vocals are surprisingly convincing, yet he could be a very good country or folkExcellent addition to an excellent movie (8.5/10).     The movie is great and the soundtrack is pretty good, but unfortunately it does have the same issue like a lot of movie musical soundtracks where removed from the film, the songs don't work too well. Not all of them! The country and rock-leaning songs work excellently, like the opening barn burner Black Eyes to what might win the Best Original Song Oscar Shallow, they have great care andThe movie is great and the soundtrack is pretty good, but unfortunately it does have the same issue like a lot of movie musical soundtracks where removed from the film, the songs don't work too well. Not all of them! The country and rock-leaning songs work excellently, like the opening barn burner Black Eyes to what might win the Best Original Song Oscar Shallow, they have great care and even a bit of polished authenticity to make it work on the radio! They work within the film's context and even work on their own if you have no idea it's from a film or even with Bradley Cooper singing them. However it's when the album goes into the pop songs that's when the album drags. Yeah the pop songs drag the soundtrack and not the dialogue cuts! Songs like Heal Me, Why Did You Do That?, and Before I Cry are pretty sterile and bland, and while I'm not much of a Lady Gaga person (I like some songs from her and did enjoy Joanne a fair bit), these would be either filler cuts or left on the cutting room floor. Plus with the R&B leaning songs like Heal Me it does not work for Gaga! She's not a good fit for this style of music! I would still get the soundtrack because I like a fair bit of the songs here, but like most musical soundtracks they work better on screen than without the visual accompaniment.… Expand

    Listened today and couldn't believe how awful and depressing it was. Only 4 good tracks out of 19. The rest are just annoying dialogues. Avoid at ALL costs.

    every songs sounds the same or like a mariah carey reject ...the only decent song " i will never love again " sounds like r kellys "i believe i can fly " which a dose of whitney houstens bodyguard soundtrack ...nothing new or original here ...also bradleys solo songs are not good either ..sorry this is a below average soundtrack for a hugely overrated remake ...

    I knew the music was good when I went to see the movie during pre screening which was a Tuesday. However, once the soundtrack was released on Friday and I had a good listen to each and every song, I went back to the movie theater and watched it all over again. It is THAT good.

    Probably the most cohesive album I've experienced. Not one song is a dudd, every song is different but still fits and the lyrics are so beautiful and mature, especially in the ballads. Vocals and production are excellent.

    The soundtrack is almost as good as the film. Every Gaga ballad could be seen as being on Whitney Houston's level. Bradley Cooper's solo songs are decent, and he does a great job for his first attempt at making music. Their duets are fluid and balanced. The cherry on top is the three main ballads from Gaga, I don't think we've heard masterpieces like this in more than a decade.

    As a soundtrack, this is one of the most enjoyable I've ever heard. The music itself being a character in the film. So much so, that the dialogue is perfectly suited in between each song, almost as if you're watching the film in your head. Bradley Cooper revealing a surprising vocal capability that honestly makes me itch for more music from him. As Gaga has famously said in manyAs a soundtrack, this is one of the most enjoyable I've ever heard. The music itself being a character in the film. So much so, that the dialogue is perfectly suited in between each song, almost as if you're watching the film in your head. Bradley Cooper revealing a surprising vocal capability that honestly makes me itch for more music from him. As Gaga has famously said in many interviews, Bradley's voice is able to reach a level of substance and depth many ARTISTS haven't even accomplished. Lady Gaga delivers some of the best material of her career, with absolute modern classics such as "Shallow", "Is That Alright", "Always Remember Us This Way" and the already iconic and heartbreaking "I'll Never Love Again", possibly Gaga's greatest and most iconic song to date. Gaga also delivering some fantastic pop tracks, such as "Look What I Found", "Before I Cry" and the generic but yet infectious "Why Did You Do That", "Hair Body Face" and "Heal Me."
    Perhaps some of the most powerful and impressive tracks on the album for me are the albums featuring both Gaga and Cooper, as their energies and vocals blend together angelically. "Music to My Eyes" being a beautifully mastered country pop ballad, Cooper's vocals having a similar sound to Red Hot Chili Peppers's Anthony Kiedis; Their most capturing and transcending performance together, apart from "Shallow", for me, must be "I Don't Know What Love Is" which bares a beautifully, classic sound that's reminiscent to a 70's love song. As for Oscar contenders for Best Original Song, it would be very hard to choose, as any of these songs could fit perfectly in that category, apart from the songs that in the film, are portrayed to be Ally's "generic" pop songs. My picks would be "I'll Never Love Again", "I Don't Know What Love Is", "Black Eyes", "Is That Alright?" and "Always Remember Us This Way." A beautiful collection of songs. As I said before, perhaps some of Gaga's most brilliantly powerful and soul crushing tracks to date. This generation's queen of beautiful, classic ballads. She's done it again, and Bradley has shown himself to be not only an astounding director, but also songwriter and vocalist. What can't he do?    … Expand

You can't help but wonder what some of these tracks would sound like if they weren't audio ripped right from the film. "Shallow" is the best part of the movie.     O filme ainda não estreou no Brasil, por isso ainda não tive a oportunidade de assistí-lo, porém, já ouvi a soundtrack pelo Spotify e comprei a trilha pela Regards e posso declarar com absoluta certeza de que é incrível, não tem como dar uma nota inferior a essa. Os diálogos presentes na soundtrack como intro de cada música com certeza devem dar uma sensação incrível para quem já assistiu o filme, deve ser como se o estivesse revendo. Na minha opinião, o destaque da trilha são as baladas I'll Never Love Again, Is That Alright, Always Remember Us This Way, Before I Cry e claro, o dueto country Shallow.

    A little note for the Americans: This album is a soundtrack to a movie and not a solo album by Gaga, although most of the songs are composed by her. Learn to differentiate ... The film is being extremely acclaimed and for those who are coming here to give negative notes to it, a little advice, watch the movie and then listen to the soundtrack of the film with the dialogues, surely you'll change your opinion and you'll have a wonderful experience.    … Expand

    The most perfect soundtrack! The only one soundtrack that made me feel it and give me the same sentiment explosion, was "The Bodyguard"! So perfect and amazing!

    I couldn't be more surprised with Gaga' skills. What a voice, what an acting... And Bradley oh my god he can really sings. Oscar-worthy.

    A masterpiece only Lady Gaga is able to make. Her powerful and sweet voice combined with Cooper's one is a perfect mix. The instrumentals are amazing too.

    Love the soundtrack, Gaga really surprised me. Same with Cooper. I hope the movie is as great as the soundtrack

    Cada faixa se encaixa perfeitamente as cenas do filme, esse álbum só comprova mais uma vez o poder de Lady Gaga como a cantora mais versátil dessa década. Te amo minha camaleão da música.

    É uma das melhores trilhas sonoras dos ultimos tempos, você sente a emoção do filme so ouvindo as músicas e com certeza a Gaga se encontrou e fez o melhor album até agora.

    Perfect soundtrack, you can feel all emotions on their voice, especially on Gaga's songs, perfect compositions too. Love it!

    There’s undoubtedly a strong 10-song album lodged at the core of A Star Is Born, but unlike the film, wherein an outsized sense of sentimentality is rendered affecting by the more grounded performances, there’s not nearly enough substance here to justify all the bombast.

    Save for a digital flourish or two on the pop songs that make up much of the film’s back half, there’s very little here that would’ve sounded out of place on blockbuster film soundtracks of decades past. At its peaks, the album delivers on the promise of its star-wattage with some of the most affecting and emotionally overwhelming pop songs of the year.

    Overall though, A Star is Born is one of the best Hollywood soundtracks of recent years. Far from being Oscar bait, these are songs that could feasibly shine on their own--and ones that feel entirely believable.
