    Unlike his TDE brethren, Rock's album is a decline from his first. His style and lyricism is outdated, while his production is nothing short of boring. Rock can't even stand out on his own album. 4 years, and it's still a decline. Guess he's not eating. ok ok ok whoooooooooo

    Jay Rock’s concepts are braver and weirder here, his words more arresting and illustrative, but the major reinvention of 90059 is his delivery.

    While its true that he’s grown since signing with TDE back in 2005 and now sounds wiser and more confident, he’s yet to distill his personality into a package that communicates that growth.
