    Taylor's first pop album is a perfect example of adaptation. She does not lose the control of the sound in any moment of the entire project. This is one of the most cohesive albums I've ever heard. Maybe, what I loved the less, is the sometimes commercial sound that it has.

    Um dos álbuns que mais grita "Pop" na discografia da Taylor. Tem boas músicas mas vai de uma forma bem decrescente de qualidade, parece que ela ficou tanto tempo trabalhando pelas 16 músicas que quando chegou no finalzinho, a preguiça falou mais alto e ela jogou o que deu. 'Blank Space', 'Out of the Woods', 'Wildest Dream' são faixas que ilustram bem essa fase da Taylor.

    1989 Sets Swift as a major pop-star. Everything inside the record feels perfectly crafted , and has Antonoff's mark all over it's production. The result?, a solid record that rebuilt pop music with almost none contemporary references. 1989 is the beginning of Pop-Taylor. Same storytelling mixed with the best production the pop genre has seen in a while .

    WOW, this is the true concept of pop. this is something amazing, true pop lyrics that talk about being young and living in the moment. sounds are perfect. Literally, if someone asked me what the genre pop is, I would show them this album.

    It is a great pop record and definitely has a weight in pop culture. It really predicted a lot of trends like the '80s come back and the minimalism. But it really turns monotonous by the 5th listen. Overall a great album.

    This is pop perfection, for the first album in pop Taylor Swift had undertaken. She serves a lot of bops with deep messages that many people can relate to. Out of the woods is my favourite in particular and style is pop perfection. An amazing album.

    Pop perfection! Great production, lyrics and vocals! The whole era was amazing! I loved the tour, the music videos and all the performances. So glad that it won Album of the Year at the Grammys. It deserved it.

    It’s been 6 years since this album released and I’m gonna say Style is one of my favorite Pop song of all time and this is my favorite Pop album this is a real pop album you can imagine a pop life with listening to it. This is really a 1989 Jam !!! You will definitely like 4 or 5 song in this album.

    With 1989 she has succeeded in leveraging the most cordial and familiar of pop music outpourings to something that feels like a statement, a work of note and the sinew of some kind of emotional connective tissue–binding tastemakers, rock critics, guys I work with and my 12 year old cousin; irrevocably and unexpectedly.
