Every aspect of the production is nearly flawless, from the production design to direction to the performances, and it all builds to an absolutely perfect ending that's hinted at from the very beginning. From the opening graphic with its classic 1950s noir static shot, the sometimes appropriately overwrought music from Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans and impeccable production design, “Windfall” quickly settles in as a sometimes tense, often comically absurd and always engrossing game of verbal chess, as the Intruder realizes he has been captured by a security camera and ups his game, demanding hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Husband so he can disappear and start a new life. The script lets all three characters get satisfyingly messy, as each of them crosses small lines that surprise the others, in a series of transgressions that pile up until the three people at the end of the film are entirely different from the three at the start. Read full review

Windfall is one of those movie that i just don't have any word to wrote or describe it anymore besides "Perfect", Windfall is such a simple intense 90 minutes film that feels like nothing, it's a movie that easily invested, with a story that might sound familiar if you just read it beforeWindfall is one of those movie that i just don't have any word to wrote or describe it anymore besides "Perfect", Windfall is such a simple intense 90 minutes film that feels like nothing, it's a movie that easily invested, with a story that might sound familiar if you just read it before you watch the movie but boy does it feel like not while you watching it, Jason Segel, Lily Collins, and Jesse Plemons performance was just unbelievable, i also really happy that now Jesse Plemons got more recognition in movies, he's already in a big movies before but his name never really there until finally after I'm Thinking Of Ending Things which is a great film, he did got more recognition, last year he was great in Jungle Cruise, and his latest before this, The Power Of The Dog which is a pretty terrific film, anyway, Lily Collins in one of her best simply, and Jason Segel was just amazing, this movie is incredible, terrific, amazing, intense, scary, realistic, and very Hitchcockian movie vibe, it's a movie that unfortunately i did have a feeling not will get a lot of attention, especially when it's only on Netflix, it's probably just gonna be a hidden gem, a great Netflix original hidden gem that actually one of the best films of the year.… Expand

A fantastic Hitchcock style thriller. The performances are excellent. Don't watch a trailer, just jump in and enjoy this 90 minute masterpiece.

This is very obviously a project that was made because of COVID. It is set in one location and contains only a handful of cast members (The three stars have producer credits as well). I enjoyed it for the most part, because the characters contain enough personality to make Windfall a fun watch.

This movie clearly wanted to be some kind of commentary on like the existence of billionaires and class relations but instead of trying to say anything intelligent about that its mostly just Jason Segel bossing the couple around the house for 90 minutes

A well made Covid production, I think maybe the ending twist/motivation was a little too easy to predict. Wonderful cinematography.

This movie is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. The plot is boring and the ending is terrible. I had to create an account just to express my hate for this movie.
