Ella Purnell delivers a fantastic performance, possibly one of the finest I have seen from a teen girl, she completely becomes her character. The script is intelligent, nuanced...but fails at being engaging in any way really. The kind of Wildike I was hoping is close enough to this one I see here. It belongs in the wild, and in any meaning by that is that it belongs in the hands of a person.

This is a gem of a movie, quiet and moving. Ella Purnell and Bruce Greenwood have a Lost in Translation type of chemistry, a relationship between a teenage girl and an older man.
