A reasonably well acted, directed and edited film. The plot was reasonably interesting - but, I found the moral compass of the screen play to be somewhat confusing - and, overly preachy in a tedious and self-righteous way.

So I understand that many individuals feel that oppressed and disadvantaged individuals from third world countries should be allowed to immigrate to first world countries - but, I couldn't understand what this film was suggesting in regard to that issue.

Perhaps if the film was suggesting that immigrant issues are un-resolvable I would take a better view of the inconsistent ideas. But, I think the film was trying to make a point and I was just not able to understand what it was. If Great Britain was a nice country it would let all disadvantaged people immigrate to their country?

So, OK - just me having an issue with the moral points of the film is perhaps not that relevant. Was the pin-ball logic realistic? Because, people normally don't face issues in a highly logical concise way - especially when the moral issues are complex and there are large numbers of individuals supporting both sides of the issue yelling at each other. In that way - looking at the film from that perspective - perhaps it was realistic.… Expand
