Wedding Crashers in a great movie. Vince Vaughn is fantastic! Christopher Walken is great too. It's hilarious-filled with non-stop laughs. Don't miss it.

After watching it again and again its pretty clear that Wedding Crashers is still to date one of the best and most memorable comedies of recent times. It follows John Beckwith (Owen Wilson) and Jeremy Grey (Vince Vaughn) a set of divorce mediators who are also "Wedding Crashers." They go from wedding to wedding, girl to girl and live the lifestyle that men dream off but at the "Kentucky Derby" of weddings - The U.S Secretary of Treasure William Cleary's (Christopher Walken) daughter that all changes when John falls for his other daughter Claire (Rachel McAdams). What unfolds is an unforgettable and hysterical series of events and some of the most memorable one-liners and quotes as John sets about wooing Claire from under the arms of Sack (portrayed superbly by Bradley Cooper), Jeremy has to deal with his "stage 5 virgin clinger" Gloria. Its an unimssable comedy that regardless of when watched will always manage to put a smile on your face and LOL, cracking comedy and one of the best! Expand

Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn really complimenting each other performance to the max. They are perfect. The whole Cleary's family are funny and so full of character. As a bonus, they add a very special scene with Will Ferrell. That scene was hilarious and legendary. You can't have it this way anymore in 2017. If Hollywood decides to make another one of this today, I can imagine Twitter will be in full rage, burning buildings, rants, and riots in all 69 states.

If you haven't seen it already, I absolutely recommend Wedding Crashers to anyone who wants to laugh and keep laughing (with an open mind ofc).

It's disturbing how this turd is raking in the millions. In an attempt to exploit it's R rating, the film often crosses the line of funny and enters into the territory of the tasteless. Which is a real shocker, for Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn share a knack for comedy, timing and chemistry which the movie has no idea how to use. Rachel McAdams is stunning, her smile alone deserves a better film. Expand

I have an appreciation for the occasional "dumb" movies and "adult" humor, but this movie was chockablock with giant plot holes, obvious stereotypes (yawn!), and was waaay too long (double yawn!) getting to the obvious conclusion. I think I was creeped out by guys their age with reasonable careers doing such incredibly dumb things that they should've gotten out of their systems 15+ years prior! I've seen the two leads do much better in other movies (but paired with other people). Maybe it's just a matter of taste (I liked "Starsky and Hutch", so what does that say?!), but if you didn't like "Old School", you can pretty much count on disliking this one too! Expand

What follows is a pretty funny disastrous stay with some truly crazy people. While one guy tries to woe the girl, the other gets punished for his lothario ways. They both end up taking their lumps in the end though. Regularly funny and benefiting from the comedic chemistry between Wilson and Vaughn, the only real problem with this movie is it's over-reliance on formula for the plot. You can predict how the whole thing is going to play out. Guy makes girl question her current relationship, guy's lies get found out, he gets depressed, and everything works out in the end. While you know the route it's going to take, it doesn't make things any less funny. The sharp dialog and crazy, ridiculous scenarios still make for a solid comedy. Expand

But these genuine moments are comprised of smaller moments that happen in the broader scheme, there are a lot of things going on to the point where many characters get left behind, but I’ll get to that. We meet Jeremy and John, played by the excellent comedy duo of Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, a pair of wedding crashers, there is no catch here, this is what they actually do, besides being lawyers, they crash an obscene amount of weddings as a way to bed various lucky ladies who are present at the wedding, then they move on, some of these scenes are terrific as they fake their way into the ceremony and then deliver the goods in the reception. The real punch comes in the form of Treasury Secretary Clearly, who is played by none other than Christopher Walken, this guy can make anything sound funny, yet he is grossly underused in this comedy, is that even possible? But even so, Jeremy and John are after the daughters of the man, seeing this as the jackpot, they get in quite deep, Jeremy (Vaughn) seduces the crazy and unstable Gloria (Isla Fisher) while John falls for the irresistible Claire (Rachel McAdams). But Claire has a fiancee, the not very nice Sack (Bradley Cooper), who is just quite uncomfortable to watch in each scene he is in, Cooper is a phenomenal actor, but his role in this film is jarring and distracting. The bum note of the film is the opportunities it misses, dragging out scenes for longer than they should and not giving enough for Walken to do, but the film has excellent moments with Vaughn and Wilson on top form, they often stray off in perfect comic timing which unfortunately loses steam as the film ticks on, there is a lot of talent that is underused, such as Henry Gibson playing a priest who doesn’t really have much to do apart from making various faces to show shock or other emotions at stories he is told, or the forgotten son, Todd (Keir O’Donnell), who has many funny moments and setups, but ultimately these don’t amount to much. One of the highlights actually comes from a small role for Will Ferrell, playing the master of the wedding crashing game, his moments on screen are comedy gold but just don’t last long enough. In the midst, this is still a funny film, it has plenty of gags that work in relation to the film and has its fair share of top notch scenes, particularly more candid ones amongst the talent rather than she they are all in the same room at the same time.
The idea and some of the delivery is there, this has an all star cast but simply loses track too many times which leaves its consistency in the gutter, but some decent performances and also some side splitting moments make this enjoyable enough, but a bit too long for its misplacement.

Surprisingly the most funniest movie of the year, hilarious on every scene, it has charm and elegancy, the characters aren't superficial and the clichés are necessary, never have I laughed so much in a long time.

Wedding Crashers undoubtably begins hilarious and Wilson and McAdams become more likeable as time passes but ultimatly the gags become repetitive. It not the Caddyshack of this generation but its not too far behind.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The movie itself stars Vince Vaughn (as Jeremy Grey) and Owen Wilson (as John Beckwith) as two lawyers who spend their free time gate crashing at weddings to pull women, basically. However, when they do this at one of the biggest weddings of the year, things change when John breaks one of the 'Wedding Crasher Rules' and does the unthinkable in falling for the daughter of the US secretary of treasury, (who's played by Chrstopher Walken), which leaves Jeremy in a rather awkward situation being stuck with his sister, Gloria, who is what they'd call a 'stage five clinger', (who's played by Isla Fisher). This results in some pretty awkward situations when Jeremy joins John at the families large estate for a weekend. Some of the things that happen during this weekend that of course subsequently don't go to plan include a game of football and, of all things, quail hunting. Poor Jeremy doesn't fare well in between the different activites that go on, with the rather OTT (over the top) sister playing some pretty cruel and strange games with him, including at one point he wakes up during the night to find himself handcuffed to the bed (and it only gets stranger from there).

Suffice to say, Jeremy doesn't much enjoy the weekend and comes off alot worse than John does.

This is a rather off the wall kind of movie, one that would probably appeal to alot of men, though I have to say I didn't find it as amusing as I'd hoped I might. It is pretty predictable in some aspects, there are some fairly slapstick moments that made me chuckle but in between and for the most part I thought that the movie was a bit too long winded and a bit too cliched in some respects. The sisters character, Gloria, and the 'forced couple' of Jeremy and her is shown as an example of a complete opposite to John and Claire, the secretary of treasury's daughter, who get more serious and John wishes to commit more, the further into the movie it gets, (which of course somewhat angers Jeremy as this means that to stay by his best friend, he has to stay around the rather crazy sister Gloria). However, eventually Jeremy appears to change his mind about Gloria and starts to have feelings for her.

This certainly isn't a serious movie at all and should be taken for what it is, even though I still cringed a bit at Gloria's character and at the two 'Wedding Crashers' for their behaviour sometimes. Gloria is a very OTT character but the naivety that appears to be there gets taken advantage of by Jeremy which at some level annoyed me, until it became clear in the movie that she seemingly isn't so much naive but more just plain crazy or, yup, you guessed it, way OTT!

I think this comedy does have some laughs but it depends on what your taste is in these kind of movies I guess. Its somewhat similar to Meet The Family and/or Meet The Fockers I'd say, although not as funny as those movies and where the two main character are concerned, alot more arrogance obviously at the start of the movie. To start with I thought this is very much a guys movie, although I think as it progresses and with what happens towards the end of it, things change and there's the somewhat usual or typical Hollywood 'thing' where one of them sees how their ways were probably wrong... This is a semi original story but it just doesn't really work all that well I thought, the actors are good but ultimately I thought the story was flawed by the lack of substance. The story feels a bit too formulaic and potentially predictable, don't get me wrong there are some funny moments and the acting is good and so on but to me, it just didn't appeal as much as I'd hoped it might... I think perhaps its was over hyped in the media, giving me higher expectations than I should have had. Possibly one for the guys. I'm rating it satisfactory as the DVD contains a good amount of extras and you can buy it pretty cheap and the movie isn't entirely dire but it could definitely be better, in my opinion.

I'd say that if your into this kind of movie, you can find funnier ones. At least to me, it didn't appeal as much as I'd hoped it would. This is a movie that guys are more likely to enjoy and that appeals to more at the start. Its a bit too 'Hollywood-ised' I thought and I thought the basic story was a bit too flimsy, with not much added to it to back it up throughout (if you know what I mean).

An absolute masterpiece! This movie is what all comedies should be. You would think this movies was made in the 80's.
