Ozon has a singular vision about relationships, sexuality and social community. In "Water Drops on Burning Rocks" Ozon made real a unpublished play by Rainer Werner Fassbinder. Fassbinder was one of the best European directors of 20th century and this movie is a tale about cruelty and domination that could be in a relationship. I like that characters are bisexual. The film goes beyond of sexual orientation and to show the power of domination. An ironic critique of dominant sexism still alive in nowadays. Expand
