The first attempt at a scare happens at 00:20, which is way too late. This is the kind of movie that you might watch in a small window while you work, but it lacks an English dub.

Don't believe the hype. This anemic horror film from REC director Paco Plaza, is a languid slow burn to a predictable climax.

Une espèce de film ésotérico-para-normal à la petite semaine qui se traîne comme une tortue d'Alzheimer goinfrée au Prozac : c'est incroyablement soporifique et totalement invraisemblable... évidemment !

C'est aussi palpitant à suivre qu'un horoscope dans Télé7jours mais également tout à fait ridicule d'un bout à l'autre, y compris lorsqu'on veut nous faire croire que c'est basé sur des "faits réels" (sic !)... c'est du même acabit que les ovnis multi-colores qui font la circulation la nuit avec Mulder sur les carrefours de Roswell City.

Bref, rien à récupérer ici, même pas un exorcisme du pas normal satanique des esprits revenants qui tournent en rond comme des cons complètement à côté de la plaque.… Expand

Couple creepy sequences but movie is filled with typical movie cliches we've seen many times before. The lead actress does a very good job with a movie that lacks any real punch.

Veronica is a relatively effective horror movie made all the more effective by excellent performances from the child actors involved. It doesn’t really do anything all that different to plenty of other movies in the genre however, and so anyone that has seen this type of movie before won’t find anything all that surprising here.… Expand

The movie had a good start but slowly becomes a predictable horror movie with lots of cliché stupid decisions made by the protagonist and others. Not bad, but you'll not find a very worthwhile movie nor good jumpscares.
