I enjoyed vault thoroughly! Definitely check it out if you see it in your area! Great style, 70s-centric, well paced, great acting, good sound and vibes.

The film is filled with really uninteresting main and sub characters, the writing oh so bla·sé, with Chazz Palminteri, Don Johnson, William Forsythe and The Sopranos gang giving just enough to get their paycheck and go. The production of this film is really horrible. The most disappointing item of all-Samira Wiley getting typecasted as just another crack whore, with no redeeming quality to offer Vault at all. There was a lot of talent that could have been offered in this film-and all of it squandered by inexperienced writers, directors and producers.… Expand

Saw this on VoD and it was a great find. Captured New England in the '70's and its an interesting twist on the Mob caper. Chaz Palminteri's Raymond is one of the best mob boss portrayals "evah".

Vault is both gritty and slick, stylized yet earnest with a subtle turn by Theo Rossi as the lead of Deuce, sharing a sizzling dynamic with sensational leading lady Samira Wiley as Karen and trusted sidekick, the lovable lug Clive Standen asVault is both gritty and slick, stylized yet earnest with a subtle turn by Theo Rossi as the lead of Deuce, sharing a sizzling dynamic with sensational leading lady Samira Wiley as Karen and trusted sidekick, the lovable lug Clive Standen as Chucky. The film neither excuses glamorizes nor apologizes for criminal behavior or preaches against it; rather Vault takes you along for the ride and lets you make your own conclusions. The soundtrack to the film by B. Dolan compliments Director Tom DeNucci's direction perfectly. The scenes with Don Johnson and Chazz Palminteri squaring off are tense and profound and exceed even the tension between De Niro and Al Pacino in Heat. What was most amazing to me, is that even though the "story" of Vault is similar to GoodFellas the EXECUTION is much, much different. If you enjoy films like Heat, GoodFellas, and The Godfather, make a point to see VAULT; to not do so, would be a crime! MIKE MESSIER… Expand

As a kid growing up in the 70's I was totally intrigued by the Rhode Island mob scene! I felt like I was back there again, very authentic and done perfectly! Great job Tommy! You are a young Scorsese!

Vault was a really awesome mafia heist movie told from the unique point of view of not the mob boss but the soldiers who got caught up in something they didn’t quite expect. A refreshing take on the crime family story . I remember the 1970’s well. I think Vault did a great representation of that era. The story was true and it was a super experience seeing it depicted on the screen. Great period piece based on true events in the Providence RI Mob! Captivating, edge of seat, must see movie. Loved the music as well! Will see this again. Any fan of the 70's should see!!!

wow! this movie starts off in a documentary style, showing old footage from 1970s RI Mafia and then quickly takes us down a tale of two small time criminals that got caught in a huge bank heist. loved theo rossi and much praise for Samira Wiley!!!

Vault brought me back to the 70's when Providence was run by one of the most powerful organizations in the country. The movie depicted the feel of the city, and had the right amount of drama, comedy, romance, and suspense. A very well told story with amazing art, coloring, and sound that will make you feel like you're there. A time piece that was right on.
