Frat boy comedy at its very worst in a movie that fails to illicit even a handful of chuckles, yet alone laughs, throughout its running time. When you find yourself yawning through boredom at a 'comedy' something has gone wrong.

There are three reasons why this movie works: Ryan Reynolds, Kal Penn, and James R. Bagdonas (the director of photography). Bagdonas (the director of photography). The script is bad, the direction is bad, the chemistry between nearly everyone (except Kal Penn and Ryan Reynolds) only works because of the phenomenal performance by Ryan Reynolds. This is a script written by people that never went to college, for people who have not yet been to college. The first 30 minutes of this movie are entertaining, but the last hour is AGONIZING to get through. It is, however, the most National Lampoon-type film I have yet seen--even more so than Animal House, but not as enjoyable. Expand

I’m pretty sure I enjoyed this a lot more when it first came out. But I could not stand Tara Reid’s character. Nothing about her is believable, nothing.
