I love Underworld! It is one of my favorite movies off all time. I still like Star Wars, Robocop, Terminator, Rocky, Rambo and other movies I've seen a bunch of times more but Underworld will always be one of my favorites film series of allI love Underworld! Okay, so after the first Underworld which I unexpectedly not a fan of however I finally did watch the sequel Underworld: Evolution making sure I find it to be good than the first and, no. I didn't find it to be as good but yet not a bad filmOkay, so after the first Underworld which I unexpectedly not a fan of however I finally did watch the sequel Underworld: Evolution making sure I find it to be good than the first and, no. I didn't find it to be as good but yet not a bad film per say but I expect far more from this. Underworld: Evolution follows after Underworld previously where Selene fights werewolves and now in Evolution, she has to go and fight Markus Corvinus to protect the future from his hidden past. And he remember the flashbacks by stabbing and biting someone. Yeah I know Selene does the same thing. Okay, not the stabbing. Did I forget to mention that Underworld is the same thing as Resident Evil? No, I haven't. Other than that, I can't remember a thing about Underworld: Evolution apart from the constant werewolf fights and they're not as enjoyable but what can I say? It's for the fans. As much I find the first Underworld to be just okay, this one is mediocre but still all right but I wasn't a fan like I said. Will I watch it again? I don't know. I might have the same reaction if I did decided to watch it again. However I'm glad I've watched the first one twice and this one once. But if you do like Underworld: Evolution like the first one then this is probably for you and the fan base. Pop it in and judge for yourself.… Expand

De todos os filmes da serie Underwold esse foi o melhor, gostei muito do clima sombrio do filme e com ótimas cenas de ação sem muita enrolação gostei muito de assisti esse filme.

Enjoyed this film more than the first one , but don´t get me wrong the first one is very good to, but this one had something special that make realy enjoy it and make me see it more than one time over and over again

This was the second film in the "Underworld" franchise but I saw it in third place, after "Underworld" and the prequel "Underworld 3". In this film, we follow the continuation of the events of the first film: Selene and Michael flee theThis was the second film in the "Underworld" franchise but I saw it in third place, after "Underworld" and the prequel "Underworld 3". In this film, we follow the continuation of the events of the first film: Selene and Michael flee the vampires and the Lycan that chase them, while the oldest vampire still alive, Marcus, wakes up to chase them too.

It is a typical teen film, full of action and violence. The direction is ensured by Len Wiseman, who continues to show weaknesses such as the exaggerated way in which he cares about the appearance and style, making the film sounds like a video game, absurd and impossible. It is also obvious the disregard in which he treats the script, which is so weak that the whole story sounds unlikely. It was thought to support the action scenes and not the other way around, that is, considering action scenes as a complement to a well-structured story. As a result, the film loses impact and interest as the minutes go by and everything becomes simply over the top and excessive.

The cast is led, again, by sexy Kate Beckinsale, who is good at the task of looking cool and tough but exaggerates in her performance and has no chemistry with her romantic partner, Scott Speedman, who is basically a decorative figure. Derek Jacobi is very regal in a film unworthy of him, Steven Mackintosh is uninteresting and Tony Curran exists only to appear to be violent and bad... permanently. The rest of the cast doesn't matter.

Technically, it is a film that bets almost everything on action scenes that are stylish and too incredible to be realistic. We almost never feel the danger or risk that the characters have to face because of this permanent exaggeration. The special effects and CGI are the best and they must have cost a considerable portion of the film's budget. Almost all monsters and werewolves were well made and designed. However, filming is banal, cinematography is permanently gloomy and blue and soundtrack is the same one that has been used in other films so far.… Expand

Good sequel. It continues building on the story of the first movie with a bit less of lore and more action. I recommend it but you should watch the first one before.

This clearly shows that newspapers have staff hired that is not conform with the people. Maybe firing and hiring might cause a higher turnover of newspapers when suddenly editors and writers are really writing something that is conform with 85 % of the rest population who actually rate such movies as state of the art with actors defining a franchise for decades for tens if not hundreds of millions with a clear success as their rating shows.… Expand

This one is my favorite out of the series. A lot more action throughout. Plus Michael is my favorite character as well being a hybrid, it's pretty sweet.

More Vamps, 2000s edge/gothic aesthetics...but with a bigger budget. And it's still glorious.
