This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. "Underworld: Evolution" is just annoying. Why are the vampires and Lycans just fighting consistently? No plot twists, witty script, or even chilly scares. It's a movie you'll get to watch and forget in a few moments. Expand

Like all of its counterparts it strives to bring something "new and cool" to the genre but ends up reheating the same leftovers and becomes indistinguishable from the likes of Blade(1, 2, and 3) and Bloodrayne. If you enjoy seeing the same story but with marginally updated effects, this is the movie for you. If you want original and engaging cinema, look away and hope they don Expand

This was almost a complete waste of film. Expand

Lots of chances, to tell an interesting dark Vampire story...but lots of blood, a long love-scene and too long fight-scenes do not compensate the worse and confusing story. Just another bad Vampire B-movie. What a waste of time.

Definately find a better movie to go see. Expand

One or two silly moments but the opening scene is very good indeed.

Acting is a little better due to lack of secondary characters. Once again, Special Effects suck. I hate how they switch from werewolf costume to cgi, It's so annoying. The film would have been much better if all of them were guys in CGI suit (like Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes). I also hate how the hybrid Michael looks in this film. It's pretty much just him with black paint on. I expected the hybrid Vampire/Werewolf to have a good, original look but sadly he doesn't. Action was rather weak as well. Overall, while it's improved in some areas (the plot), It's also gone down in other areas (the action) as well. I have given it a chance but I am done with this series. I honestly do not see how users can actually like this trash. Expand

Okay, so after the first Underworld which I unexpectedly not a fan of however I finally did watch the sequel Underworld: Evolution making sure I find it to be good than the first and, no. I didn't find it to be as good but yet not a bad filmOkay, so after the first Underworld which I unexpectedly not a fan of however I finally did watch the sequel Underworld: Evolution making sure I find it to be good than the first and, no. I didn't find it to be as good but yet not a bad film per say but I expect far more from this. Underworld: Evolution follows after Underworld previously where Selene fights werewolves and now in Evolution, she has to go and fight Markus Corvinus to protect the future from his hidden past. And he remember the flashbacks by stabbing and biting someone. Yeah I know Selene does the same thing. Okay, not the stabbing. Did I forget to mention that Underworld is the same thing as Resident Evil? No, I haven't. Other than that, I can't remember a thing about Underworld: Evolution apart from the constant werewolf fights and they're not as enjoyable but what can I say? It's for the fans. As much I find the first Underworld to be just okay, this one is mediocre but still all right but I wasn't a fan like I said. Will I watch it again? I don't know. I might have the same reaction if I did decided to watch it again. However I'm glad I've watched the first one twice and this one once. But if you do like Underworld: Evolution like the first one then this is probably for you and the fan base. Pop it in and judge for yourself. Expand
