Tyler Perry's Boo 2! A Madea Halloween is stupider and worse than the first film. Yet again, this film is definitely not funny and is complete torture.

It’s lazily written, basically shot and edited and is the 10th installment of the series. But just like with the first BOO! there is just something about the film that makes it a blast to see in a crowded theater with some friends, whether you’re laughing with or at it. I’m far from someone who loves stupid humor (Sandler and Bay never get great reviews from me) but if you’re just looking for a fun experience at the movies, maybe look into this one.*

This comedy is its spookiest yet. The film features newest puns, jokes and none other than Mabel Simmons and her crew to keep us laughing out of our seats! Come out and get scared!

Tyler Perry must be stopped. He is an abomination in every sense of the word, and a stain on the black community that only a highly corrosive acid bath might be able to wash out. I would expect better work from a brain damaged middle schooler.

If you answered yes to these questions, then this is for you. It's one of Perry's weaker efforts, but still provides the same kind of entertainment that has kept him going for quite some time now. The only change Perry has ever made to this series was to move away from the more heavy hitting drama in favor of lighthearted messages and an increased emphasis on the humor. While that has made a world of difference in making these more enjoyable, it's no secret that there are still issues that will probably never get fixed. Perhaps the most notable is how cheap these movies look. The production values are not high. Visually it is on par with made for TV films. Of course the writing and comedy is only for a specific audience, but I see no issue with pandering to a specific audience. Where Boo 2! stumbles is unsurprisingly in it's storytelling. Everyone who isn't Madea and her fellow old cronies are irritating as all get out. These scenes where that focus on the younger generation of her family flat out suck. Unfortunately in this movie it feels like the majority of the attention goes to them. When the attention is on the title character the movie can be quite funny. Although the first Boo! had the funnier material. Sometimes the jokes fall flat thanks to an overreliance on raunchy dialog. It's pretty lazy in a lot of areas. Tyler Perry is just cashing in on his following at this point with no desire to put that much effort into Madea's exploits anymore. I personally can't blame him even if I personally would do things differently. No, the real issue with Boo 2! is that it's just not as funny as it could have been and the recycled aspects of the previous Boo! are very noticeable. The writing is predictable as all get out. Yet, there are still enough humorous moments to make it worth a watch for the fans. Just don't expect this one to be your new favorite Madea movie. Expand

Boo 2! A Madea Halloween is hands-down, one of the worst comedies I've ever been assaulted by, starring some of the most annoying characters I've seen in a movie.

When the extent of your humor is "Help meh Jaezus!" and "Hellurr", it can only go so far if you don't add anything new into it. And while the movie spares us from the stupid, tone-killing melodrama, the movie still has an overabundance on the same tired jokes previously mentioned.

And that's best word to describe Boo 2! A Madea Halloween: tired. The same tired jokes, the same tired performances, and the same tired formula are all so bad that even Tyler Perry's own fanbase is getting tired of his schtick. By the time it ended, I as well wanted to shout "Boo!" However, not for the right reasons.

To this day, it is the worst $20 I've ever spent. It is marketed as a "comedy horror" film, yet it fails miserably at following the guidelines of both genres. It is neither funny or scary in the slightest. I'm surprised this movie wasn't canned upon the producers reading the screenplay. I'd preserve this movie for future filmmakers to showcase as the perfect example of what NOT to create when making movies. Expand

bom, o filme menos engraçado que já vi, personagens chatos e irritantes, roteiro pessimo e sem graça, atuações pessimas e vergonhosas.
