Movie isn't bad. Art direction is primorous as Lynch always does it. This spin-off can be interesting for TP's fans seeing Laura before she dies but this prequel tells nothing beyond that Twin Peaks' series viewer already knows and even ifMovie isn't bad. In another words, film doesn't adds for who watched Twin Peaks and it isn't indicated to who never saw serie and wants to watch it.… Expand

Really disappointed in this film. I felt like nothing was answered from the television series. Maybe if they had a directors cut I'd check it out. The television series of Twin Peaks, you're so engaged in Laura Palmer and the town around her,Really disappointed in this film. I felt like nothing was answered from the television series. The television series of Twin Peaks, you're so engaged in Laura Palmer and the town around her, but after watching the film I could really care less. It feels really uneven, like they really didn't know where to go with it. David Lynch is an amazing director, I love the dreamy sequences and some of the melodrama in his work. However, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me feels like a rough draft.… Expand

The film is well directed, but feels chaotic.
The images are less effective and powerful than in Lynch's previous works and, after a few moments of suspense and tension,
the film flows by narrating events largely intuited by watching the TV series

As someone who LOVED the series, I must say that even though it was enjoyable, its notably worse (the bar is set too high). Everything surrounding Lynch and Twin Peaks is absolutely crazy, and this also has its disadvantages.
