A solid snarky satire on Hollywood that gets by on some fantastic turns from Cruise & Downey jr in particular, but has a few flat spots that let it down a touch.

Tropic Thunder was undoubtedly created by a marketing team, that much is clear. It is a substantial Ben Stiller cartoon car. This Movie is **** hilarious and Robert Downey Jr's performance is **** great too in this controversial film. But **** them it's really **** good. Sorry for the profanity.

Just an utter skewering of Hollywood yet an enjoyable story at the same time. This was a movie, not an op-ed. And so very funny at that! RDJ well-deserved his Oscar nomination.
