You don't watch a movie like this for anything more than the fight scenes.
The script is as cliche as it gets and the acting is as campy as you'd expect.

Regarding fight scenes and action this was great. Regarding plot and the rest it felt kinda unrealistic and cheesy at times. This is a bad movie. Triple Threat fails in almost every conceivable aspect and that is hard to say because I was really looking forward to it. The acting is awful and only a few good performances are given. The directing is incoherent andThis is a bad movie. The directing is incoherent and baffling at points. The writing is maybe the worst of the year and the dialogue said is just horrible. The cinematography at points is so overexposed I'm shocked a professional cinematographer thought that it was okay. The only redeeming aspect of this movie is the quality action and really good hand to hand fight scenes. I understand this was all they cared about but you cannot let the rest of the movie suck, that just is not how filmmaking works.… Expand

This film delivers the action and nothing more.
Watch this only if you want a 90% action movie with guns, explosions and martial arts. A unique cast with martial artists that are used well.
