It is one long, psychedelic ride into moments of Travis Scotts life over the last couple years. Covering mainly the Astroworld era, this frantically edited and artsy visual portrays Travis Scott as a superstar who loves to put on high energy concerts. I never knew who Travis Scott was, but this documentary made me a fan. There is just something behind this unorganized compilation of clips that makes this a very original concept. I have never seen a documentary quite like this one. I really hope this gets an Oscar nomination for just how different and artistic this documentary is. Expand

It's 95% concert footage 4% people screaming like girls seeing the Beatles for the first time, w/ about 1% of actual info. I've never heard of of Travis Scott before this movie (don't listen to music anywhere to rap) and before watching I did some quick research on him before, learned about "Astroworld" and the Super Bowl controversy, so I was expecting to learn more about him, his childhood, who was he and what happened before "Astroworld"; why was the album so great, why is he so popular, what happened w/ the SB controversy, etc. but absolutely NOTHING of that covered. This is nothing but a concert movie that's not truly a concert movie that's going under the genre of a documentary that's either no where close to a documentary or an incredibly poorly made one. Summary:
If you don't know who Travis Scott is and are wondering who he is, etc, totally skip this, you're not missing anything at all. If you do know him, you'll probably find way more informative than I did.

It's really bad. There is no plot or story line. It's just weird. And it's all over the place. They also use their baby to advertise for them.

“Look Mom I Can Fly” is a masterpiece. A perfect display of Travis Scott’s (Jacques Webster II) creative flair and dedication to his art, his family, his friends, and especially to his fans.

It was an emotional, intense, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it dive into the rise of Travis Scott’s career. I will say no more, but if you are a Travis fan or a fan of hip hop in general, you need to see this. And if you aren’t a Travis fan, you will be afterward.

Not a clear explanation of why he chose to perform at the Super Bowl, but other than that, it’s pure entertainment. Travis isn’t deep, and is aware of this, so the doc is just a feel good and showcase of his creativity, creative process and come up, without any serious insight or anything of the sort. However, older fans will recall when Travis made the song “Don’t Play,” where he claims he’s coming for the throne and is taking music seriously... just not lyrics, which works for him. In the credits, “COFFEE BEAN” plays in the background, which is the most serious subject matter songs La Flame has ever made., Expand

Great look into how passionate Travis is about his music and his family and how he is able to balance the two together.

The way this film flows and the aesthetic meshes with instrumentals from Travis Scott’s music. The incorporation of concert videos and fan clips make the film feel more genuine like you are immersed in one of his concerts and are taking a ride in Astroworld. This is an amazing documentary that kept me engrossed throughout the whole run time. Fantastic. Expand

The documentary shows you the beginnings of what would be the birth of his First Daughter, Stormi Webster and a brief glimpse into the relationship of himself and Kylie Jenner. The film will show you glimpses and visions of his childhood and well as the different areas of where he grew up and some moments where he first began his music career. The film even shows you some of the business deals he makes (Nike, Jordan, Record Labels & Artists) which is super cool to witness from his point of view & Lastly it gives you a great Behind The Scenes POV of the making of both his albums "Birds In The Trap" & "Astroworld" during his crazy and insane rise to fame.

For a Travis Scott fan, this documentary is a Holy Grail of information that you may not have known about your favorite rapper before. For the casual listener who is not a Fan, this documentary will be a nice watch but won't mean much to you afterwards.

The quality of the film is good for a self produced documentary and will probably be watched multiple times with high replay value for most Travis Scott fans. The average listener or just a regular watcher will only get one view out of it. The goal of the film is to help you learn about the man while appreciating him as an artist. I would say that this is a job well done. (8 out of 10)
