Kind , good, warm cartoon ! Good soundtrack , he's happy , the characters are great , the script is simply breath-taking ! The plot seems sluggish and simple, but when you look at the whole cartoon you do not seem .

So Pixar throws away a chance to make a sequel to one of their other films that haven't received one for an unnecessary 4th installment for Toy Story?! Why?! Toy Story 3 ended perfectly and this did not feel like a Toy Story movie at all!

However, Toy Story"We Belong Together", the end title piece sung by Randy Newman as the credits rolled following the third installment made it seem that all would be fine for Woody and the gang after they landed safely in the care of Bonnie. However, Toy Story 4 goes against this happy picture we last witnessed, and instead focuses once again on the idea of getting older, growing farther away what we used to know as children, and coming to terms with this new reality. New Pixar creative Josh Cooley leads the cast and script through another timeless entry in the series, filled with colorful set-pieces (as expected) and plenty of emotional moments to make this return to the franchise feel worthwhile, and, surprisingly, necessary. These toys have changed since last seen, especially that of Woody. The amount of focus on the development and growth of Woody is great and surprising, even for a Pixar outing. His story is what drives the plot forward, and makes for a fantastic finale, one that rivals the brilliance of 3's emotional sendoff. However, as mentioned earlier - "We Belong Together" - the catchy, Newman helmed song, and the idea behind it, is tested in Toy Story 4. A test that makes for a must watch story, accompanied by a wonderful cast (as always), stellar visuals, and the true emotional moments that Pixar is known for. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I don't understand the glowing reviews for this installment in a franchise that was, until this one, beautiful and amazing. The jokes fell flat. The plot was a mess. They kept introducing new characters when they didn't know what else to do. The idea of a kid making a toy that becomes sentient is FANTASTIC, and they did nothing with it. The only thing that works for me here is the technical beauty of the thing but I really wish they'd stopped after Toy Story 3. This one seems to have been inspired more by making money than anything else. Skip this one, even when it comes out on streaming services. Expand

The graphics have improved SO MUCH and my 21-year-old heart feels so childlike every time I see a TS movie (as in any of the four).

I thought the 3rd installment is a dead-end story but I'm glad they were able to make a new one with Bonnie's POV!

Less a full fledged sequel than an epilogue, to bring just a little bit more closure to Woody's arc. Like any epilogue, it's ultimately unnecessary. Does it need to exist? No. But is it ok that it does? Absolutely.

The parallels to the first film are constant and intentional. Woody must deal with the new toy on the block. Woody loses said new toy and must go on a quest to retrieve it to keep his owner happy, to do the right thing because his moral compass never pointed nowhere but true. He meets scary toys that aren't scary so much as misunderstood. All is well. Except Woody.

The circle of life comes full circle. This isn't 4, this is 1 all over again. But how many times can you repeat the same story, the same mistakes, the same resolutions? Woody takes a different exit this time. He loses his voice in life but gains perspective. And by doing so sets himself free, free to help all others, not just those close to him, to infinity and beyond.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A fantastic, satisfying conclusion to the Toy Story saga. While a little bizarre 'from the outside looking in', the series all the way through forces the memories that lay dormant within us all. The first movie indicated the happiness we feel as a child.

The second movie continued this, further implying the pain we felt of losing a favorite toy.

The third evolved with us, exemplifying the growth of us, from children to teenagers and further.

And finally, this movie concludes with the ultimatum - when we go on to adulthood and leave behind the memories we lived as kids.

Every beginning must end, and this movie ends the long running series of movies with a heart-warming final curtain that is sure to invoke the tender nostalgia in all of us that grew up with the previous movies. Woody finally finds his true happiness, the one he sought for so long - to be with Bo Peep, to infinity and beyond.

Toy Story was born in 1995 and has been growing up along with its public. Each one of their adventures reaffirms the formula, essence, and style of the most recognizable saga of cinema. 24 years and a trilogy after, Woody and Buzz Lightyear comes back with one more adventure in which the toys will learn new and valuable lessons with which will be able to close cycles and open roads.
Bonnie is nervous about getting into school, so Woody decides to help her. In his effort, Bonnie creates a new toy with disposable materials that calms her and stimulates her spiritually, but Forky, the new toy, has a conception about himself that will trigger this new adventure.
Toy Story 4 has some trouble to organize its morals, which are several and very valuable, and that’s thanks to the formula of the saga: open with an "original" proposal, the characters have to adapt to it and, therefore, a bubble of "clever" action is made in the plot to engage the public with tension and open a way to the porpoise of the initial proposal. This technique gives the film a mechanical rhythm and, if maybe it doesn't bore, neither achieve to homogenize its sensible and action elements. Nevertheless, the sensible moments are full consciousness, self-critique, values, perceptions, and arguments that hold the public to, what I would dare to say, the most humane moment of the saga. This is because it destroys the idiosyncrasy of the characters and eliminates the presence of an "enemy" through a beautiful speech about consideration, utility and the opportunity of taking and giving second chances. Toy Story 4 doesn't treat us as kids anymore, and as grown-ups, we must understand that there are no enemies, just different conceptions that deserve the same attention and respect. I just want to stand out the animation and photography with a lot of texture that embellishes each location. The music also contributes and, in general, the beauties and thrills are so high quality that, even though they are different gears, they flow smoothly.

Most of all, I really disliked Bo's character. It felt like they tried way too hard to make her "strong" and failed. Being "strong" isn't just about muscles and punching or being stoic. Bo could have been someone who was strong without being overbearing, aggressive and annoying. I wish we had some better writers for the female cast. Bo didn't resonate at all with my daughter, who wanted more of Jessie. I had to agree. I would have liked to see more for Jessie to do.

Overall, not a terrible movie but not up to the standard of Toy Story. I wouldn't recommend it or see it, again.

Toy Story 4 is a feminist rom/com—a romantic comedy in the classic mold with a feminist twist.

Indeed, the film “makes the couple” a whopping 3 times: Woody (the reluctant male who needs to be persuaded to take the plunge) and Bo Peep; Forky and (for a better word) Knifey, the “trash” twosome whose coming together as the credits roll is both unexpected and delightful, a moment of sheer cinematic bliss; and Gabby Gabby and the “lost girl.”

Even though Woody is the primary protagonist, and several new male toys are introduced, “Toy Story 4” goes beyond the addition of a female toy here and there (e.g. cowgirl Jessie in “Toy Story 2”); this is the franchise’s feminist film. Woody is fond of Bo Beep and she of him. But Bo’s strengths are many and threaten to overwhelm and displace Woody’s desire. She’s a fiercely independent feminist, having been “on her own,” beyond the security of a child’s bedroom, for 7 years. She’s an athlete and a warrior, using her hook as a both a weapon and climbing device. Bo and other independent toys travel around in a mechanical skunk. These “Independent Toys,” which exist somewhere between “Lost Toys” and “Toys who have a Kid,” are a new category for the franchise.

Duke Caboom, Ducky and Bunny are solid and funny additions to the “Toy Story” crew, but on the whole the cast is too large and dispenses with too many familiar characters to achieve the kind of focus that shaped previous editions.

These caveats aside, “Toy Story 4” is almost as good as its predecessors - and that's saying something.

When I first see the trailer I was so reluctant to see it because it seemed the same movie for the 4th time, that I almost felt insulted, then I see some reviews saying that it was actually really great and that so I was convinced.

Is not that is a bad movie but it is a recreation of the same formula again, my biggest problem was that the main characters, especially Buzz and Woody were so out of character in order for the plot to advance that it struck to me as lazy writing, it even has this trope of "you lied to us" that is a cancer to a lot of kids movies. The animation is gorgeous and there are some jokes here and there that will make you laugh or at least chuckle but, if you're not that interested or want to stop a little make this money printing souless machine that Disney is, you may want to skip this one.

Although Toy Story 3 had a perfect and emotional conclusion to the trilogy nine years ago, the Toy Story series continues to move forward with the fourth instalment and continues the adventures of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the other toys under the Bonnie’s ownership.

Two years after the events of Toy Story 3, Woody (Hanks) felt that he is being neglected by Bonnie because she has not played him as her toy as she preferred to play with other toys. During the orientation day at Bonnie’s kindergarten, she makes a new toy from trash materials and a fork. She named her toy as Forky. Woody befriends with Forky but he keeps going back into trash can because he believes that he a trash and not a toy. Woody tried his best to convince Forky that he is not a trash but Bonnie’s toy.

After the orientation day, Bonnie and her family go on family road trip which she brought some of her toys including Forky and Woody. Forky jumps out of the RV which forces Woody to go rescue him. Separate from Bonnie’s family and her toys, they travel to a nearby town and come across an antique shop where they got ambush by some ventriloquist's dummies led by a doll named, Gabby Gabby (Hendricks), who wants Woody’s voice box.

Unfortunately, Woody escapes the antique shop without Forky. Not wanting to leave him behind, he tries to figure out a way to rescue him. In the process, he reunites with Bo Beep (Potts), who was given away prior to the events of Toy Story 3 and now lead a new lifestyle. She agrees to help Woody rescue Forky while Buzz plans a rescue mission on his own to save both Woody and Forky before it is too late.

Much like the previous Toy Story movies, Toy Story 4 continues to be the one the greatest animated movies of all time. While some animated movie series gets worse with their respective sequels, the Toy Story series is not one of them. Not only the animation is great, the plot, humours and the character developments are well written, executed and nothing too cliché. Woody and Bo Beep had the best character developments which is one the best parts in the movie.

The voice acting from the cast never ceases to amaze me especially Tom Hanks and Annie Potts whom they deliver an emotional performance. Keanu Reeves, who voiced Duke Caboom in this movie, also gave the best performance in his voice acting. I never really expected that he could play a comedic role since I always see him more an actor who always gets typecast into action movies. He really does provide the best comical relief moments in the movie.

The ending of this movie is very emotional, beautiful and great at the same time. You will get the same feeling from the ending of Toy Story 3. The only downside of Toy Story 4 is some of the toys such as Jessie and Rex had limited screen time and played more of a supporting or minor role. It is not too disappointing but I wish they have more screen time. Nevertheless, Toy Story 4 is simply amazing and a masterpiece. Whether there will be the next Toy Story movies or not in the future is up for debate. Last but not least, do stay back awhile for mid-credits scenes.

Knifey: “How am I alive?”

Forky: “I don’t know.”

‘Toy Story 4’ is a lighthearted adventure that neatly wraps up the perfect character arc, which is light years better than the third, in my opinion. However, in spite of that, I’m still questing why this fourth entry exist, because everything else is paper thin.

Lets start off with the merits: I know saying the animation is amazing isn’t anything new when it comes to Pixar - a company that’s constantly involving with every entry. It’s the same with as saying “Meryl Streep is great in...”, type of situation but needs addressing ever time. I liked how beautifully polished every character and environment looked, which gave the movie a certain quality in richness. There’s a scene at the beginning involving rain that’s close to photo-realism and a clear growth in the animation department. I mean, the difference based on the plastic looking models back in 1995.

Perhaps my favorite character in the entire movie was Duke Caboom played by the breathtaking Keanu Reeves. Despite the little screen, Reeves manages to bring some much charisma and enjoyment to the character it was hard for me not to smile. I was surprised that a few people didn’t realise it was Keanu, but then again he’s casting wasn’t anything secretive if you’re like me that follows announcements on upcoming movies. Anywhere, I could tell Keanu was having a blast with this role and it seems very fitting considering Reeves stunt work.

I was shocked, yet glad that the character of Forky wasn’t as disposable as I originally thought. Surprisingly the main message of purpose and suicide came from Forky’s dilemma...no joke, well that’s how I interpret it. It’s something you don’t pick up on, but you’re brain did.

The funniest aspect of the movie came from Bunny and Ducky played by Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key, especially the plan scene where the visual comedy was used effectively for laughs. I thought they were going to be so annoying based on the trailers, but I was relieved that they had some good material for the jokes and punchlines to be funny.

It’s great to see the old gang back together with some welcoming new faces. Although I feel like the old gang got pushed to side characters this time around. Even Buzz didn’t seem to be himself and got backtracked to do absolutely nothing through out the movie. I know there’s a lot of characters and it be difficult to juggle so any, but if we’ve learned anything from ‘Infinity War’ is that it may seem impossible until it’s done.

I’ll give the movie credit for not having any villains, as it would’ve been unneeded and a cheap trick to add dramatic tension.

However, despite the welcoming return and facing new conflict, but everything else has less to desire. I wasn’t quite emotionally involved as I should’ve been, yet at the end, I didn’t hit me as the movie intended. If I have to be honest, after seeing this a few weeks ago, I’m struggling to remember certain scenes. This movie existing is unnecessary as everything felt made up on the spot which I think is the reason why it didn’t emotionally connect with me like the previous three did.

A big step down for the franchise, but family and children will enjoy it no matter what, and that ain't a bad thing.

Overall rating: “I’m trash”

While everyone is distressed or faced with deadlock, Bo Peep is the only one who has complete certainty of who she is and what her goals are. Therefore, it naturally assumes the role of guide of the group, guaranteeing great moments of action and girl power. This posture still creates a fun contrast with the Bunny and the Duckling, who could not be more lunatic. Toy Story 4 proves that, yes, there is still charisma and breath to spare for the franchise. I remember years ago crying whenAll right, I do it in public so I might as well admit to all: most people who know me know I cry in movies and I have never been ashamed of it but to cry in an animated film??? Come on!! Okay I did and I do. I remember years ago crying when Bambi's mother died but until cartoon movies became way more, in technical ways, I didn't during Snow White, Pinocchio or even Fantasia!

I saw "Toy Story 1" but aside from remembering some of the characters I remember little of the story. I skipped 2 & 3 but not having anything else to see today I decided to see the, supposedly, latest and last story. It is a story about how one feels not being wanted or loved anymore and how to handle the feelings and life changes.

In this film we find an old friend Woody, a sheriff, has lost his first owner, Andy, who pushed him aside when Andy went off to college. Woody found consolation with Bonnie who inherited him but now she is off to kindergarten and has made her own toy, Forky, made from trash items like pipe cleaners, a plastic spoon, doll's eyes and considers himself trash but Bonnie loves him. Very shortly after bringing him home she loses him and Woody feels it is his duty to return Forky, now Bonnie's friend who in turn deserts him while at the same time convince Forky he is not just trash.

The chase involves some old, and many new characters, in the Toy Story series but bogs down in the chase sequences while at the same time offering a few laughs such as a skunk sort of being a Trojan horse or at least camouflage! The main tug at the emotional strings are the reunion of Bo Peep and Woody with the former having accepted the fact that she no longer serves a purpose just moving here and there.

Not having seen the middle stories I am not sure who is new here but Tom Hanks, as always, is very effective and, yes, believable as Woody. Tony Hale, new as Forky, is funny while Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear gives solid backup to his friends while Annie Potts returns as Bo Peep as a very strong woman and Christina Hendricks as sort of a villainous Gabby Gabby who wants Woody's voice box. One of the newest characters, and definitely the funniest, is Keanu Reeves as Duke Caboom, a Canadian stunt motorcyclist, full of himself and daring to do anything.

"Toy Story 4" is a film for both children of all ages and adults will, in many cases, enjoy it more! After seeing about a dozen of the 'new' ways films are animated I am still intrigued at how the characters seem alive and, in many cases, you believe in them.

Still solid after all these years with some flaws alomg the way. Woody Buzz and Bo Peep all seem a little off in this one compared to their characters in the past but still this version was a lot of fun for someone who has grown up with these toys

Think you're gonna see some classic Toy Story action? Oh boy, you would be wrong, this movie is just a cold, shallow reminder of the disease-ridden, **** oppressive, racist and unequalized feminazist society we're living in today that is covered by a mantle of good manners and political agenda, this piece of **** is just another reminder of how **** up this world is today and that nothing is sacred anymore. The first ones were great, the first one gives you a lesson that you should accept the way you are and not try being something else, the second one gives you a lesson on life that you should never leave your friends behind and if someone tries to **** you over you'll have your friends beside you, the third ones leave you a lesson that not everything looks the way it is, and you should dig in deeper, and that some people will still be hostile to you, doesn't matter how good you are with them. And this one? It just leaves you a ****ty lesson that you should be a pricked dumbass ape that should take a bullet for every single dumbass you meet in the entire world, and that you should leave everything you love because a woman, really, Woody is the biggest prick i've ever seen in a movie. He's no longer an optimistic cowboy that is self-aware of himself and enforces leadership and order between the toys and teach them from their mistakes, he is now a dumbass who will leave everything behind because M'FORK or M'LADY, they dumbed him down so much it's a ****ing insult, his intelligence is the equivalent of an online White Knight (Someone who stands up for girls on the internet they barely know, hopefully so they can engage in sexually intercourse with them. Usually males. They are douches who can't get none in real life) and in the ending when he leaves everyone behind feels so wrong and forced-in that i'm positive this movie is just trying to do political agenda, they basically killed Woody, this was the worst way possible i've ever seen on a movie to kill such a famous, important character that influenced in millions of people's lives. It was atrocious, it should be a ****ing crime, it didn't make me cry, it was pathetic, stupid and pointless, and it even wasn't for a ****ing good reason! Just because an uninteresting, generic and bland porcelain doll character that appeared in 2 scenes and wast lost for over 7 years before this movie and weren't even that important! She was just shown in a scene kissing Woody and that's it! Also it was ****ing pointless! Woody stayed with her just because she was too comfy in that Park she was living in or something! He left everything behind not because it was for the greater good, or for something that was remotely worth such a stupid decision! He died just because a woman, and that's why i couldn't take the ****ing ending, it means you must leave everything you knew, loved and lived behind because you must fulfill the request of a woman and the need of having a sexual intercourse to presumably be worth something! And that's what pisses me off! This movie leaves kids the lesson that if a woman calls them they must leave everything behind, and i ****ing hate that! Women aren't queens or godesses or superior beings! They are normal people that are no better than you or me! So what this people is trying to screw in your skull is that if you want to be worth something in this hostile and cold reality you must die for a woman, because if you don't do that you are worth nothing, and that is the most bull**** thing there is! You can be an excellent person in life without the need of having a woman or any other kind of sexual partner beside you. And the plot of this movie feels extremely forced (In a scene Woody says "I have nothing left to do" and that resumes the whole purporse of the movie). He doesn't get in trouble because he made a mistake, or has to save his friends, the movie starts because Woody, like the pricked idiot he is, suicide dives himself out of the window because of a stupid, deformed, suicidal, worthless piece of trash Forky decided to do a favour to the world and kill himself. It makes no sense. Why would he do that? He knows his kid loves him, the relationship he made with his toys, himself knowing that he is a rare collection toy that is worth thousands of dollars, and the nice, happy life he is living with all of them, yet he decides to risk throwing it all away because of a suicidal piece of trash jumping out of the window. Also why star Molly as the main character and not a better one like Rex, Potato Face or even Jessie? They are much better and meaningful characters, also the new characters are lame at best and doesn't contribute anything extraordinarily good to the plot, what a waste of Keanu Reeves. And what other reviews mentioned is the lack of screen time they gave to the original cast and how bad they dumbed Buzz down, i'd like to keep going, but i can't. Expand

I am happy to say I was absolutely wrong, not only is Toy Story 4 a fitting addition to the series, it may even be one of the best instalments. The story, though retreading some well worn ground, still feels fresh enough to keep everything tied together and goes along at a solid pace, with enough twists and turns to keep everyone in the audience invested.

The characters (the ones that get decent screen time at least) stay true to themselves as we have grown to know and love them, and the film concludes in an extremely satisfying way.

I’ll not spoil any finer details, but will leave the suggestion that you go see it if you are a fan of the other films.

Very good film 9/10.

The character of Forky, as great as he is, is a plot device. He really is only there to move the story forward which kinda sucks. My other issue is that the film does borrow heavily on themes and plot points from the original 3 films. Here are the positives. This film can be very emotional at times. The film starts emotional and doesn’t stop being emotional until the credits roll. The last scene of the film is probably one of the most emotional Pixar moments. The voice acting is very good. Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Annie Potts are standouts from the main cast. Each delivers their lines with so much emotion and personality that you can’t help but care about them and their struggles. The returning characters don’t have a lot of screen time but they all do an outstanding job. The new characters are really good also. Keanu Reeves, Jordan Peele, and Keegan-Michael Key’s characters steal the show. Each of their characters are incredibly entertaining and hilarious to watch on the big screen. This leads me to my next point. For a Pixar film, Toy Story 4 is pretty funny. There are a handful of jokes that don’t land well but most of them got a chuckle out of me and one or two got full on laughs from me. The animation for this film is outstanding. It’s incredible to see how far animation has come from the original Toy Story in 1995. There is one shot that showcases the passage of time and it’s incredible. The story is heartwarming and nice even if it does bounce back on ideas from the previous films. The score for this film is pretty good also. It’s not extraordinary but it’s good. The tone for the film remains consistent all the way through and it’s also paced really well. I would highly recommend seeing this in theaters. Overall, Toy Story 4 is another great addition to the Toy Story franchise with outstanding animation, great voice acting, and tons of emotion. I give Toy Story 4 a 9/10. Expand

Nine years ago, Pixar achieved something that seemed impossible and they gave an excellent ending to the story that put them on the map.

When they announced Toy Story 4 I wasn't excited at all. Even with the all love I have for the characters, I was 100% convinced that their cycle was over.
They were still united and would start again so what was the need for a new story?

After watching Toy Story 4 my fears were confirmed and Pixar managed to undo their grand finale and despite the good thematic and its emotional ending, Toy Story 4 falls short to its predecessors and that emotional ending manages to disrupt the union of the characters, maybe forever, and that before my eyes is unforgivable.

No doubt Toy Story 4 is about moving forward and growing and it express it in a more direct way than the third film because now those emotions are for Woody and not for Andy and yet I cannot stop thinking that Pixar went to a place that shouldn't have gone with these characters.

This is still Toy Story - although the show now belonged completely to Woody - And the quality is still there, that is undeniable. The jump in the animation is simply breathtaking but Toy Story 4 is a very good sequel that should never have existed in the first place.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. *heavy, disappointed sigh* Guys, I wanted to like this movie, I really, really did, especially as someone who loves the original trilogy to death. Sadly, Toy Story 4 to me felt like a half-assed afterthought from Pixar; an attempt to milk the franchise even more because of how well the third entry did - much like with Finding Dory or Monsters University.

Here are five of my main problems with the film, though I wish I had the ability to go into more (screw you character maximum):

1) Several of the characters from the previous films seem to act in ways that are extremely contradictory to what they were like in previous films. Bo Peep is obviously the biggest example of this, going from a very quiet, dainty, lady-like, but still pretty sassy woman to this kick-ass, athletic action hero who pretty much fits all of the archetypes for a feminist "strong female protagonist" that exists solely to "destroy the patriarchy and show that women can do anything a man can do". Yeah, you know what I'm talking about, and you know as well as I do how annoying and overdone that trope has become in recent years. Yes I know that Bo supposedly went through a personality change from her experience being thrown away by two owners and being stuck in that antique shop for so long. However they fail to truly show how this series of events altered her outlook on life and her overall personality. Buzz Lightyear is another character that fits this description because of how clueless and kind of useless he is throughout the film. Seriously, how could Buzz not realize what an "inner voice" is and how come he never tries to take charge of a situation and act like a leader when necessary, which is something he did regularly in previous films? All he seems to do is just jump into things without any kind of thought or consideration, "humorously" miss the point of what people say to him, and occasionally try to offer emotional support to Woody. That's it; other than that, he hardly serves a purpose in this film. Its clearly a different character from Buzz Lightyear I grew to love from the previous films.

2) Very similar to Finding Dory, a massive chunk of this film is filler: wacky hijinks, "extreme toy stunts", and simply rushing from place to place. There isn't nearly enough time for any of the characters to settle and absorb what's going on and talk things over in a meaningful and emotionally-significant way. Instead, much of the time it's, "Oh no, we need to go here to rescue _____ or to meet up with _____. No time to discuss it, let's just go... and get into all sorts of hijinks and almost get caught or ripped to pieces every second of the way." 3) You barely see most of the other toys from the first three films (Rex, Slinky, Ham, Jessie, Bullseye, Mrs. Potatohead, etc.). I'm not counting Mr. Potato Head since Don Rickles passed away before the film was made, but all of the others barely get any kind of screen time and are simply there to state what's already been established or to make quick jokes that don't always work in my opinion. I've always loved these guys and it's such a shame they get sidelined so much in this picture.

4) There are more than a few instance where the toys seem to break the rules in terms of not being caught by humans or raising suspicion of their ability to come alive. What I mean is that there were a lot of instances where a toy will just make a noise or quickly place itself in a location where it wasn't before and the human would know that it wasn't there before. The humans in this film are completely oblivious and unaware of their surroundings, it forces you to suspend your disbelief way too often. 5) A lot of the major plot points and reasoning behind characters' actions seem very arbitrary and do not receive any sufficient explanation. For instance, why does Bo Peep not want to return to the antique shop to help Woody save Forky, and why does she suddenly decide that she does want to? I suppose the reason is that she spent several years there waiting to be bought by a new owner and she has a bad relationship with Gally. But as with many other things in this film, they do not tell or show enough to convince me that her choices are a result of natural progression and decision-making as opposed to just moving the script forward. Another good example of this problem, and perhaps my biggest issue with the film as a whole is this: Why does Bonnie no longer want to play with Woody? Why does she constantly leave him out of playtime with the other toys? This is probably one of the most important plot points of the film, giving Woody motivation for much of what he does throughout the film - and yet the film refuses to actually tell the audience why Bonnie decided to act like he doesn't exist anymore. Plus, isn't it a huge betrayal of the ending scene from Toy Story 3, where Andy explains how special Woody is and how Bonnie needs to take extra good care of him? HOW IS NO ONE ELSE UPSET BY THIS?!

Whereby, TOY STORY 4 does not represent the same quality in terms of plot, but it does not mean that is a bad movie. This sequel was totally unnecessary. It is probably the funniest one inside the four films, and the least emotional inside all of them. From this, it is possible to say that this movie closes the story of a special character in a good way, instead of the plot falls dramatically at the end. In general, the movie is special, and it does not disappoint, but it was not necessary.

It hit me right where I live. These films (and Pixar's catalog as a whole) have always had elements aimed at a larger crowd than the children that are the target audience at face value, but this is the first one that seems so directly focused on those who grew up on with these characters. It actually feels like the kids might have been a little bit of an afterthought.

You can dive really deep into all of the stuff going on with the messages and morals. The movie has things to say about body image, suicide, and self-worth, all of which stems from the main theme of desiring romantic love. While it's pretty subtle with the darker, more complex stuff Toy Story 4 is a bit on the nose when it comes to the lesson of not giving up on finding someone. I mean there's a point where Woody literally says something along the lines of "there are other kids out there" in an obvious nod to the old saying "there are other fish in the sea."

I'll admit, I unfortunately have to count myself among the portion of the fan base this was trying to reach and I definitely felt like Pixar was beating me over the head with their message. Yet, I don't hold anything against the movie for that as it was strangely comforting to see the characters I grew up with suffering alongside of me. There's a catharsis to Toy Story 4's bluntness that allowed real emotion to pour out of me (I never full on cried, but tears did slip out of me). I may not agree with the final imparting that everything will end up being okay and someone will finally desire to be with me as to say that is ignoring the bitter harshness of reality, but this is a movie and an animated family one at that. Escapism is just part of the deal.

Of course on top of all that depth is a hilarious and sometimes harrowing ride. One that's gorgeously animated and perfectly voice acted. There's a real sense of danger running throughout that honestly made me think not all of these toys were going to make it out alive. The "villain" of the movie is one of the most sympathetic characters I've ever experienced. The very embodiment of what it feels like to shoot for love only to end up rejected time and time again. Every tear I shed was the result of literally being able to feel exactly what she and everyone else was going through. There's such a power to the writing hidden under the unassuming veneer of comedy and cuteness.

To think I went into this a little bit worried that it would undo the excellence of Toy Story 3 and it's ending. 4 however completely justifies its existence and concludes in a manner that's just as satisfying. It's hard to say how it stacks against its predecessors, but on its own rights it's an emotional and joyous adventure. One that made me laugh, absolutely wrecked me, and gave me the tools to help me put myself back together. Essentially everything I could ask for from another Toy Story.

I approached Toy Story 4 with a healthy level of scepticism; what more could possibly be added to this franchise that had culminated in such a faultless conclusion? Yet here stands a fourth instalment, asked for or not… that in many ways keeps itself comfortably in the formula we know and love. As we saw by the tear-jerking finale of 3, our favourite bunch of toys now spend their days playing with ‘their new kid’ Bonnie. Toy Story 4 starts off with a fuzzy familiarity that eases us in… until the introduction of a new character, Forky (a neurotic spork voiced superbly by Tony Hale). Expectedly, Forky becomes lost in a circus in the midst of a family road trip; it’s up to Woody to get him back. The adventurous escapades that ensue are undoubtably good fun; for me, it felt like a much more low-key Toy Story film, the grandiose nature of some of its predecessors replaced with something smaller and more character driven. First time Pixar director Josh Cooley and writers Andrew Stanton and Stephany Folsom put together a neat package full of clever humour and all those other qualities that make a Toy Story film tick. Naturally it wouldn’t be a Pixar outing if some deeper themes weren’t explored; in Toy Story 4 we delve into questions of sentience, loyalty and purpose with all the maturity and compassion you would expect from this studio. Tom Hanks once again delivers a heartfelt vocal performance as Woody, giving more raw humanity to a cowboy doll than should be allowed. Though this is suitably Woody’s story, he is flanked by a colourful cast of supporting characters; notably, Annie Potts gives gusto to an old face and Key and Peele lend their talent to some delightfully fluffy comic relief. I would have liked to have seen a bigger role for some veteran Toy Story alumni (what are Jessie and the Potato Heads doing these days?), but the newer players are a lovable lot… and the level of fun you can tell Keanu Reeves is having as Duke Caboom is enviable. Every character and the world around them is fully realised in simply breath-taking animation, hyper-realistic yet still with a slick sense of style. The question can still be raised, however, of the necessity of this film’s existence. The truth is, apart from brief moments, we’re retreading old ground here, exploring familiar themes and ideas. Whilst this typical Toy Story fare is successful in pushing the nostalgia buttons and entrapping us in escapism, there’s very little new that is being brought to the table. From the storyline to Randy Newman’s jubilant score, it’s a caper we’ve seen before that loses just a bit of its charm. Despite this, however, Toy Story 4 is still a sure hit for Pixar and knocks most franchise four-quels out of the water in pretty much every way. For some, its conclusion will prove to be another tug at the heart strings… and even if (like me) you don’t quite buy it, the whole thing is sure to leave you with a warm, pleasant feeling inside. All in all, Toy Story 4 may not be a revelation but it’s a kind-hearted, amusing and entertaining film that harks back to everything you loved about the other movies. If only for that, it’s certainly worth your time. Expand

This is the movie Rian Johnson would be proud of. Not in a “oh,so terrible” way ,but in a great way. If this was his directorial debut in the field of Animation, this is exactly what would’ve been.

Toy Story is a special franchise for me. This is the one that started it all: my passion for Movies,my huge love for Pixar and my passion for Art in general (had it not been for Toy Story,I wouldn’t have known what Alien or Fight Club were). And it’s still my favorite Trilogy to this day, being such a continuous franchise of movies where they span every idea the Directors and Writers sparkled in their tiny little heads (In 2004,Toy Story 3 was supposed to be a rescue mission to save a malfunctioned Buzz Lightyear. The malfunction does happen in here, with another character in an interesting way).
And Disney, being the cash-full House Of Mouse that it is,forced Pixar (?) to make another one, where giant worries boomed on Social Medias, thinking it would ruin the franchise with a sequel as good as “Cars 2” or “Monsters University”. Personally,I was excited for it,because, unlike the other “new sequels” (not counting TS3 or Cars 2),this did feel like Nostalgia-Bait done right.
And,while Toy Story 4 may be just what I expected,it also had a lot more to offer beyond “this wasn't really unnecessary…”. New characters you actually root for,big laughs that makes it the funniest of thel 4,and a huge sense of emotion that invested me in so many ways. Oh,and also, many new ideas and stuff like that…
Right from Frame 1,I had a smile so big,you have no idea...
Ok,so to start… Am I the only one who can’t shake the feeling that Woody was like Marlin from Finding Nemo? Sure,it leads to an emotional conflict that will have the lasting power to him until the end of the movie, but think about it: He’s the overly protective toy who “needs” to protect Forky because he wants to make Bonnie happy. Hey,he beats Marlin in terms of protectiveness…
This is definitively Woody’s story. So much so that, unlike previous installments, other characters get either overshadowed or used for a funny subplot (mostly Buzz Lightyear). And when you see Woody’s plot unfold, that’s where it’ll get all “Rian Johnson”-y,as the plot twists are EXACTLY what a Director like him would do. Someone may have a problem with that twist, but it’ll make a majority of the Audience bawl their eyes out (I,like, did totally not cry at this btw… It’s not my fault the theatre flooded…)
The new characters do not feel unnecessary and/or annoying. Forky is the character everyone will ironically relate to in 2019 for the sole fact that he thinks he’s Trash. Ducky and Bunny (played by Key and Peele) steal every moment of the movie, and Keanu Reeves doesn’t disappoint in here as a Canadian Stuntman. I hope he makes more Animated movies like this…
This is,first and foremost,a love letter to all Toy Story fans. Not in a “let’s stop our movie so that they can see a Captain America vs. Himself fight” kind of way. Little details are sprinkled here and there while the big picture is narrated, and it makes the movie the “Ready Player One” of the Toy Story franchise. And it’s all accompanied by beautiful Animation that only stops for a second to be like “look at the pretty Animation!” (unlike the other final movie everyone loves for strange reasons…). Now we can also make Mud realistic,FORK YEAH.
I love how everything feels like a Videogame, specifically the Second Chance antique store. Either a Haul or a dusty hallway feels like a Super Mario game. A Haul is World 1,while a Closet is the Final Boss Fight, while the outside of the store (with the Trash Cans) is a Secret Level.
And,to finish it off, when the Third Act rolls,BRACE YOURSELF,because that’s only designed to be an Emotional Challenge, which puts TS4 as the most personal I’ll ever get since Finding Dory. I adore these characters, and they’re a giant part of what made my Childhood in the first place.
As for flaws, besides the final scene (where only a few will be perfectly and emotionally fine with it),the Randy Newman score was just an “Eh?”++. Nothing super bad or mediocre, but a rehash of certain themes make it sort of annoying, although,in the context of the scenes in which they’re played,it makes so much sense. Overall, there’s really nothing to say besides “I love this movie, man…”. Oh,and stay for the Credits. This time, you won’t regret it,I promise.

The latter ones correctly guessed the fateA beautiful continuation of a dearly personal saga perhaps was predicted by some, except others foresaw Disney’s evil scheme to bank on nostalgia, knowing their recent horrible case of sequel-itis. The latter ones correctly guessed the fate of Toy Story 4; nothing unique comes from this bland half-attempted corporate product.

But first, here’s a little backstory about how Toy Story came to be. The entire franchise began with Pixar’s first Academy Award win: Tin Toy, in 1988. The studio then got the idea of expanding this short into a feature film using their successful innovative technology, focused on the main character, Tinny, and his ventriloquist dummy friend. Eventually, Tinny became Buzz Lightyear, and the ventriloquist dummy became Woody. Now, the friendship between this cowboy and space ranger stands as a testament of how even drastic differences, whether in people or filmmaking techniques, can coexist in sincere harmony and cooperation. Except now, all that is forgotten, leaving most Pixar fans to potentially hate this contradiction against what was set up in the past on a toy’s purpose to be loved by a kid. Woody understood that, Buzz understood that, now, neither one cares. The messages left behind instead are nothing consistent with the good ol’ cowboy.

Bo Peep returns, but for the supposed purpose of fan service to SJWs’ (Social Justice Warriors’) desire for an “independent, no man necessary” archetype designed to erase the motherly shepherdess from existence. Before, she kept Woody’s moral hat on straight as the sole mature toy in Andy’s room, and now, strips away the skirt to declare how nobody means squat to her anymore. How exactly is Bo a good role model in that regard? For being able to throw a kick? Woody shows a similar negative role model for boys minus the drastic change in exterior. The only change in appearance he undergoes is the “Andy” on his boot, which has “Bonnie” written on it instead now, except it leaves no impact on Woody’s choices later. Remember when the “Andy” on Woody’s boot sadly got painted over in Toy Story 2? That sense of ownership and commitment to a kid means little to Woody here, leaving room for his selfish desires to be fulfilled out of not being chosen for playtime.

Even the designs of these returning toys are way off compared to past movies. There is a flashback of Andy, and he looks like a totally different boy, while Bo Peep’s face has grooves around the face rather than the original painted-on face. The animators clearly didn’t try to make them match the original designs, nor did the screenwriters try to make them match the original characteristics. Buzz Lightyear is disrespectfully demeaned to a painfully unfunny running gag, and it doesn’t help either that he survives a fatal fall in a busy carnival that should have broken him beyond repair. Although to its credit, the Historic Downtown Grand Basin dummies are fantastically created humanoid nightmares… the eyes… the mouth… the run… brr!!! So, if only looking at the new characters, the designs would be brilliant.

But the characterizations of these new faces would still be insufferable, even if these new cast members try sincerely to compensate the horrible script. The villain is a doll named Gabby Gabby who wants Woody’s voice box, because it apparently works inside her. (Yeah…) The way her arc closes is entirely pointless, rendering Gabby Gabby a weak antagonist. The little screen time of the Canadian biker, Duke Caboom, benefits the plot only by providing a jumping platform, that’s it. The insufferable duo of Bunny and Ducky crack tough brawler improvisations nonstop, including an ongoing joke which halts plot progression.

Now, to explain why “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” doesn’t apply here. Woody’s old friendships just wander around wild without enough information on what the living situation in Bonnie’s room is like. It’s conveyed that Jessie frequently wears Woody’s “sheriff” badge, but that’s it. There needed to be more focus on Forky, Bonnie’s new toy made from trash. That unique concept to the series gets thrown aside, so its huge narrative potential never exploits itself. Instead, an entirely different tone takes over at the antique shop, where its showcase of photorealistic lighting takes priority over character conflict. Although, Forky’s humor is cute when he takes center-stage, especially when running after a trash bin over and over, to Woody’s humorous desperation to stop him. If the rest of the movie kept like the first act, it’d be on par with the other movies.

Instead, once closer analyzing the filmmaking mechanics of each scene, including the now completely recycled Randy Newman score, the rainbow adventure of Toy Story 4 loses credibility, as it should. Dang, why didn’t we listen to Chucky’s promotional posters of him massacring the toy gang? He was trying to warn us!

I grown up to Toy Story films but this one was a bit disappointing.

Our beloved characters feel off at times. For example Woody and Buzz whom used to be brilliant and resourceful, for some reason are now dumb and can’t come up with a basic plan. Low key appears as an excuse to make Boop the most strong, intelligent and productive character in the whole film. Dear feminists, you really need to make males look dumb to even being considered as useful?

Other things that I didn’t liked where the fact that the rest of the crew doesn’t really contribute to anything and the awkward comedy that isn’t as clever as it used to be, but I guess it suit better nowadays kids so I can give it a pass.

In the end it was entertaining, and beautifully animated, but it was the weakest of the Toy Story films. Just like everything Pixar has been doing recently, it’s great but not amazing.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Toy Story 4 fails to convey the nice universe of our favorite toys. For starters, the writers seem to have forgotten the personalities of the original characters and the bond they share or simply they didn't care about it. It's a shame how they portray characters like Buzz as dull and plain dumb, just following a very forced narrative. Jessie hardly makes any statement nor she shows the least interest in Woody anymore. Woody easily forgets about Bullseye and I can't get the picture of him not having a leader spirit anymore. He's relegated by Dolly taking his place. He used to be the one that gave purpose to the group, instead this film wants to make him the forgotten toy that has lost all true essence. Not a single toy he lives with tries to help him out. The rest of the characters just lay aside, briefly shown and without any engagement. They focus a lot on the new characters, which is not a bad thing but the problem is how they disregard everything else, losing all logic and trying to force the plot.

To be honest, it feels like a lot of short films were made and they tried to put them together through a general line that doesn't get through. It goes without saying that it has its moments though not enough to accomplish the pixar film element, also, not enough for the Toy Story quality. There's a lot of references that may be a lot for children, making it weird sometimes.

Visually stunning, great music, a few funny jokes... entertaining in general. But lacking plot, quite bad old characters' development and ok new characters but not remarkable.

This film shouldn't had been made, not with the Toy Story name on it. If they wanted to make a story of some new toys it could have been a fine spin-off but not involving the original story line. I'm sorry to give it such a low review as Toy Story was of such a big influence to me. This might be the worst movie Pixar has developed and biggest mistake.

Toy Story 3 ended on a very definitive note. It felt the like the final chapter had closed and that there didn't need to be another film. Not to mention that after having created what is generally considered one of the strongest film trilogies ever made, Pixar would be tempting the fates by creating another one. But they did it! Toy Story 4 is an utterly entertaining film.

This film's feel seems to be created to directly contrast with 3. Whereas the last movie was darker and felt stretched out, this film feels more lighthearted and fluidly compact. This is the installment that is trying the most to have fun.

Don't consider this purely a frivolous film. The ending is almost as strong as in the last movie, and I felt that one was only better only by a thin margin. Things get pretty emotional.

The entire film is about Woody (Tom Hanks) having an existential crisis. Once a favorite plaything and the leader of Andy's toys, Woody is now one of his new owner's least played with toys and being a newcomer, no longer the leader. His whole journey is pretty compelling.

The biggest reason this movie justifies it's existence is that not only do we have closure for Bo Beep (Ghostbuster's Annie Potts), but her character is finally given justice. In the original film, it seems she was part of the cast just because they needed at least a couple female characters. Her role didn't serve much purpose other than to be Woody's girlfriend. Same with the sequel. You could've cut the character out, and it wouldn't affect anything. Then, in number three, she was just out of the story entirely, having already been sold to a new owner. The writer's reasoning at the time was that due to the heavy action scenes, I'm guessing primarily the moments where the toys are roughed up by toddlers, Bo Beep being porcelain and fragile was difficult to include. Here she's finally give her due. She has more personality, she has agency, and she is finally part of the action and story.

New character Forky (voiced by Veep and Arrested Development's Alan Hale) is an inspired creation, a handicraft toy made out of a spork who's dealing with sudden sentience. He works well interacting with Woody as they share questions about their existence in the world. I actually felt the character was underutilized a bit. (It did annoy me a little that the writers were selective about how much or little knowledge of the world Sporky had.)

The new villain Gabby Gabby (Christina Hendricks) is yet another emotionally damaged toy. Don't worry about her being a clone of the last two. They go down a refreshingly different path with her.

Though I enjoyed the story, I do admit that the movie basically copies the formula of the first two films by having a few characters separated from the others and going on a journey. The movie may as well be called Woody Story as the majority of the cast is sidelined for the film and even Buzz is more of a supporting player. A lot of time is spent on the new characters. Though I can't complain much as they all are pretty entertaining. (Ducky and Bunny (Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele) bring us the funniest joke in the entire series.)

I'd rank this only under number 2. TS4 is a blast and I recommend this to all Toy Story fans.

I was surprised to see a theater full of people on a kids' movie at 7pm on Sunday.
But I shouldn't have. It's a Pixar movie after all. Long time ago I figured out that Pixar always remembers that kids usually go to movies with parents or other adults. The adult audience is as much a target as kids, in ALL Pixar productions. Additionally, the Toy Story 4 was ripe with references to previous series for Toy Story aficionados.

My kids grew up with Toy Story 1 and 2. I haven't heard about their impressions on the newest sequel yet.
I expected tons of humor and emotions from the film, and they were delivered. Yet I would not call it my favorite Toy Story sequel. It is very hard to keep the bar that high.

If you are one of Toy Story or Pixar aficionados then definitely go see it.

Great animation, perfect casting, great all around from the team from Pixar. Yet it's biggest disadvatage: coming of what many consider as a 'perfect trilogy'. This film is an epilogue at best to that storyline, yet after the epic that were Toy Story 2 & 3, it just can't hold a candle to those masterpieces. Is it still one of Pixar's best? Absolutely. Should Disney be inclined to make another sequel? No. As many of the character arcs have reached a satisfying conclusion, and shouldn't be commercialized even further. The main problem with Toy Story 4 is that it is definitely NOT for small children. My 4 1/2 yo daughter enjoyed Toy Story 1, 2 and 3. Toy Story 4 terrified her. She kept saying she was scared and wanted to go home. We considered it, but then my wife picked her up and held her on her shoulder and she fell asleep for the rest of the movie.

Toy Story 4 has a dark and creepy tone and several scary ventriloquist dummies that hold other toys captive. For an adult the movie is OK, maybe a 7. The plot just isn't quite as complex or interesting as previous entries as I remember them, but it's entertaining. For a small child it's a 0, so giving this a 5 overall is actually generous.

The film once again sees Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) and the gang return, along with their new owner, Bonnie, along with her other toys that we met in the previous film. Bonnie is about to start kindergarten and is feeling anxious, as most children do. Woody, being the caring and sympathetic toy that he is, tries to make things easier for her. Bonnie then decides to gather some thrown away items, mainly a plastic spork, googly eyes and some thick string to make a new friend she refers to as "Forky" (Tony Hale). Forky, shockingly becomes sentient like the other toys, except that he's aware that this is not his purpose. He repeatedly mentions to Woody that he is trash and belongs in the trash, and does everything he can to get away. Woody tries to stop him and convinces him that he's the reason Bonnie will be happy and make it through kindergarten. One day, during a trip to the carnival, Woody is convinced that he sees a lamp of an old friend, he ultimately runs into a dolly toy named Gabby (Christina Hendricks), and she seems sinister, and Forky ends up being stuck with her until she gets what she wants. Woody then runs into Bo Peep (Annie Potts) and she has moved on from being a kids' toy and becoming an independent toy who is free to explore whenever she craves it. Woody tells her about his situation and she offers to help out by introducing him to a friend, a stunt-man cyclist toy named Duke Kaboom (a hilarious Keanu Reeves) who, much like Buzz Lightyear in the original 'Toy Story' (1995), Duke has over-the-top confidence, though he is aware he is a toy. Meanwhile, Buzz (Tim Allen) tries to find Woody, and is stuck at a carnival game where he meets Ducky (Keegan Michael Key) and Bunny (Jordan Peele), and these two were absolutely hilarious. I liked this movie, not as much as the first three, it doesn't have the same emotional punch like Jesse's tragic backstory in 'Toy Story 2' (1999), or the intense drama with the garbage chute in 'Toy Story 3' (2010), but it is the funniest of the franchise. Director Josh Cooley does an impressive job of making his first animated feature debut. The gang is back, it's great to see them, the new characters; Duke, Ducky and Bunny have become my favorite moments from this film. If you love Pixar, this is one not to be missed, the comedy alone does warrant this sequels' existence. Expand

I know what you’re thinking because I was thinking the exact same thing. Another Toy Story movie!? Toy Story was a trilogy, the story was done and each film was wonderful in it’s own way. Toy Story was a trilogy, the story was done and each film was wonderful in it’s own way. Sure I love all three but the first will always hold the top spot. When I heard Toy Story 4 was in the works I was beyond disappointed, here it is, another franchise being milked until it’s dead, another money making racket, greed pulling the strings, be damned with the story and how wrong was I! I never felt Toy Story should have made another sequel and when it started I had endless doubts, I don’t think I can adequately explain how these all melted away in the first 20 minutes. Toy Story 4 is a gem, it’s right there with the others and deserves your time. I was in a cinema full of mostly adults (and the worlds quietest baby) and I think I can speak for almost everyone when I say we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Last time we saw Andy’s toys they were donated to his neighbour Bonnie and with Bonnie starting preschool she’s naturally nervous. She ends up literally making a new friend called “Forky” who is having some real trouble adjusting to the fact that he is now a toy and not just any toy, right now he’s Bonnie’s favourite toy. With Woody desperately trying to help Forky deal with his existential crisis and start embracing life as a toy. It’s funny, enjoyable for all and got the expected moments of sadness that comes with a Pixar movie. They really do love to try their best to reduce us into a blubbering mess at every opportunity. It may not be quite as emotional as Toy Story 3 but it still pulls at the heart strings nonetheless. The visuals get better with every film and if Toy Story 4 doesn’t get the Best Animated Oscar then something is seriously wrong, it makes you sympathize with a talking spork. If that isn’t good film making I don’t know what is.

No, this film didn’t need to be made, but it’s another wonderful addition to the story, it’s funny and I loved the old and new characters. Keanu Reeves as the Evel Knievel style stunt rider Duke Caboom, the return of Bo Peep and as if we needed any more reasons to be creeped out by ventriloquist dummies now we have them. What’s not to love? Do I really have to sell this movie to you? We’re all suckers for a bit of nostalgia and many of us have grown up with Toy Story so what are you waiting for, get yourselves to a cinema and enjoy this heartwarming, gut-wrenching conclusion to the Toy Story franchise. Yes I know we thought the last one was the definite conclusion and it certainly had that feeling but I can’t see another after Toy Story 4. Did you hear me Pixar? Enough now, quit while you’re ahead. Highly recommended to everyone.

a funny but unnecessary movie. This movie was reviewed as a solid ending to the Toy Story franchise, and I have to disagree. This movie was an unnecessary cash grab that does not need to exist. This movie was an unnecessary cash grab that does not need to exist. That being said, the movie is funny, and will get a couple laughs out of you, but the story is weak and not very interesting. This is a movie that is carried by how much we love the characters, not from its own merits. Expand
