Summary: Mike Vargas, Mexico's chief narcotics officer, is in a border town on a quick honeymoon with his American wife. While waiting to testify against a drug lord, a car bomb goes off killing a rich U.S. developer. When Vargas embroils himself in the investigation it endangers his wife and poses a threat to a local U.S. cop.
