Tina Turner was the first singer when I was a child that I could recognize as a figure of intrigue and talent. Her story is a deep and tragic one that resulted in some of the best music the world has ever seen. This is a good documentary, which doesn't shy away from the tough times Tina had while married to Ike but I liked that it includes interviews with her, with her telling some of the story, rather than it all being narrated by someone else.
