''Israel, their people, the Jews are better than all of us. They're better than all of us. And you need to accept that.''

This is a documentary that talks about how many evangelical Christian groups in the US are very supportive of Israel and its people because of the crazy idea that at the Second Coming, the Jews, after Armageddon, will be wiped out for the most part, and consequently the survivors will have to accept Jesus as their saviour if they want to get to heaven. And all gets to happen after enduring seven years of "great tribulation".

Also only the most devout Christians will be spared the conflict thanks to the rapture, and then, after Jesus' return to Earth, Christians will claim Jerusalem for themselves.

This exposes a massive hypocrisy on both sides. On the one hand because the Christians admit that they help because of the prophecies that guarantee the annihilation of the Jews, while the Jews accept this help - even by knowing this - because it benefits them.

It's a blatant arrangement of convenience that works for both, especially when it involves financial and power-grabbing causes.
The Jews getting economic and political help, and the Christians believing they will get the biggest windfall in their imaginary holy land.
Un-freaking-believable.
